Young amassed 35 points (10-15 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 8-9 FT), one rebound and nine assists over 26 minutes during Sunday's 152-150 loss to the Bulls. Young's 35 points weren't even a team high on the afternoon -- that honor belonged to Jalen Johnson and his 36 points -- and four different Hawks scored at least 20, but it wasn't enough in the highest-scoring game in the NBA so far this season. Young was making just his second appearance since suffering a knee injury in late October that has cost him most of the season so far, but Sunday's shooting performance was the strongest sign yet that the All-Star guard is fully healthy. Young set a new season scoring high and more than doubled his three-point total on the campaign, as he came into Sunday having gone just 5-for-31 (16.1 percent) from long distance.

Young (knee) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Bulls, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Young sat out the second leg of a back-to-back set Friday for load management, but he'll be back in action Sunday afternoon, and he could be cleared for slightly more minutes in his second game back from the knee injury. Young's return will likely result in Nickeil Alexander-Walker heading back to the second unit, and Keaton Wallace could drop from the rotation entirely.

Young (knee) is out for Friday's game against Spurs. With Friday being the second leg of a back-to-back, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that the Hawks are holding Young out due to right knee injury management. The superstar guard logged 20 minutes during Thursday's 133-126 loss to the Hornets in what was his first game back in the lineup since Oct. 29. Nickeil Alexander-Walker should jump right back into the first unit Friday, and Vit Krejci is also worth streaming in category-based leagues.

Young (knee) racked up eight points (3-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 assists, one rebound and one steal across 20 minutes in Thursday's 133-126 loss to the Hornets. Suiting up for the first time since Oct. 29 following a 22-game absence due to an MCL sprain in his right knee, Young exhibited some rust from three-point range but had no problem finding his teammates for buckets. He was on a minutes restriction Thursday and will likely have his playing time monitored closely for at least the next few matchups, so his production will likely be impacted until he's back to a full workload. Thursday's contest was the first leg of a back-to-back set, so Young could be a candidate to rest Friday versus the Spurs.

Young (knee) will play in Thursday's game against the Hornets, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. After an MCL sprain kept him sidelined since late October, Young is set to make his long-awaited return to the floor Thursday. The Hawks will closely monitor the superstar guard's playing time after he spent so much time on the shelf,, per Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site, but the expectation is that Nickeil Alexander-Walker is heading to the bench. Through his first five appearances, Young averaged 17.8 points, 7.8 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 27.8 minutes per game.
