  • Barrett totaled 23 points (8-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 33 minutes in Canada's 86-79 win over Greece in the Paris Olympics on Saturday. Barrett was automatic from the field Saturday, and he came in clutch alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as Canada began their Olympic campaign with a win. The 24-year-old led Canada in scoring, and he will likely serve as one of the squad's top options offensively as Gilgeous-Alexander has already seen defenses swarm him despite a 21-point performance of his own Saturday. Furthermore, Barrett is getting a heavy dose of minutes as well as the opportunity to display his talents, coming in behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo in playing time in the match.

  • Raptors' RJ Barrett: Won't play Sunday
    By RotoWire

Barrett (knee) has ruled out for Sunday's game versus Miami, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Barrett will sit out due to a sore left knee, though the injury isn't expected to be anything that affects his offseason preparation. In 32 appearances with the Raptors after coming over from the Knicks in a Dec. 30 trade, Barrett averaged 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 three-pointers in 33.5 minutes per game. He's under contract with Toronto through the 2026-27 season.

  • Barrett is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Miami due to left knee soreness, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. Barrett dropped 35 points in 33 minutes during Friday's loss to Miami, but it's unclear if he'll take the court Sunday. Given that Toronto is eliminated from playoff contention and has little at stake Sunday, Barrett's questionable tag could hint that the Raptors are leaning toward holding him out, though official word on his status likely won't come until closer to the 1 p.m. ET tipoff.

  • Barrett closed Friday's 125-103 loss to the Heat with 35 points (13-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists across 33 minutes. Barrett was Toronto's best player by a wide margin Friday, but his explosive offensive outing was not enough to lift the Raptors to victory. It's unclear whether Barrett will see any minutes in the season finale at Miami on Sunday, but he's ending the season on a strong note having posted 20 or more points in each of his five appearances this month.

  • Raptors' RJ Barrett: Won't play Wednesday
    By RotoWire

Barrett has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Nets due to left knee injury management, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Barrett will take a seat for the second half of Toronto's back-to-back set after posting 23 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's loss to Indiana. He has only two more chances to suit up this season, and both games will be in Miami this weekend.
