Horton-Tucker registered 15 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds and an assist across 18 minutes off the bench in Monday's 111-107 preseason loss to the Bucks. Horton-Tucker is battling for a roster spot with the Bulls, and while these performances might strengthen his case, his chances of securing a spot in the Opening Night rotation aren't very high. Horton-Tucker has averaged at least 10.0 points per game in each of his last three seasons, though, so he could provide some scoring and flexibility off the bench for a rebuilding Chicago team.

Horton-Tucker is available for Saturday's preseason game against the Grizzlies, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Horton-Tucker was held out of Friday's practice due to calf tightness as a precautionary measure, but he is good to go for Saturday's preseason matchup. The 23-year-old appeared in 51 regular-season contests for Utah last season, during which he averaged 10.1 points, 3.5 assists and 2.4 rebounds across 19.8 minutes per game.

Horton-Tucker didn't practice Friday due to calf tightness, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports. Horton-Tucker's status for Saturday's preseason matchup with the Grizzlies is now in question. However, there is no indication that the 23-year-old guard will miss any regular-season action.

Horton-Tucker agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Chicago on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Horton-Tucker spent the last two seasons in Utah, averaging 10.7 points per game in 2022 and scoring 10.1 points in 19.8 minutes per contest in 2023. The five-year NBA veteran is only 23 years old, and he'll have an opportunity to make the regular-season roster with an impressive training camp.

Horton-Tucker finished with 24 points (10-23 FG, 4-8 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 111-95 loss to Denver. The 23-year-old guard led the Jazz in scoring on the night as he saw big minutes in the absence of Collin Sexton (illness), Jordan Clarkson (back) and Kris Dunn (foot). Horton-Tucker has scored 12 or more points in each of his last three games, draining multiple three-pointers in each, and he figured to hang onto a significant role in the backcourt over the final few games of the regular season.
