Jackson amassed 24 points (10-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 130-113 loss to the Rockets. Jackson moved into the starting lineup for the first time this season, going off for a season-high 24 points. The Pacers are without a number of regular guards, affording Jackson with a great opportunity. While he was able to capitalize, keep in mind he had scored a total of just 28 points in six games to begin the campaign. As a player who is not even a consistent part of the rotation, we would need to see a lot more of this before declaring him a reliable asset.

Jackson is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockets. Jackson will make the first start of his three-year NBA career Wednesday, replacing Jarace Walker in a depleted Indiana wing rotation that's missing Ben Sheppard (oblique), Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Andrew Nembhard (knee). Jackson is averaging 4.7 points across 11.8 minutes per game in his six appearances this season.

The Pacers signed Jackson to a two-way pact Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Jackson will return to the Pacers after signing his original two-way contract with the club in March. The 27-year-old appeared in only three games for the team last season, during which he averaged 0.7 points and 1.3 rebounds. However, Jackson played nine games for the Indiana Mad Ants, and he averaged 22.3 points, 5.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 55.6 percent from the field.

Jackson signed a two-way deal with the Pacers on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Jackson has been a standout for the Windy City Bulls in the G League, averaging 17.1 points, 5.7 assists, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 2.5 turnovers. He'll likely be a key contributor for the Mad Ants going forward.

Jackson was waived by the Bulls on Monday. Jackson joined Chicago on an Exhibit 10 contract in early September but was unable to secure a spot on the final roster. However, it's possible he will wind up in the G League for the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
