  The Bulls didn't re-sign Ilyasova (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) after his 10-day contract expired Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Before he entered the protocols last Wednesday, Ilyasova didn't get the chance to appear in any games for Chicago. Once he completes his quarantine and has made a full recovery from the virus, the 34-year-old could catch on elsewhere for depth-challenged teams seeking an experienced option in the frontcourt.

  Ilyasova (COVID-19 protocols) is listed as out for Wednesday's contest against the Hawks. Based on Chicago's injury report, Ilyasova was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Tuesday. The veteran forward signed a 10-day hardship contract with the Bulls on Dec. 21, but he hasn't made an appearance for his new squad.

  Ilyasova signed a 10-day hardship contract with the Bulls on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. With a number of players still in COVID-19 protocols and facing uncertain timetables, the Bulls will bring in the veteran charge-taking specialist on what will likely be a temporary basis. Ilyasova has spent time with seven different franchises throughout his career, most recently appearing in 17 contests for the Jazz last season. In those appearances, he posted 3.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 threes in 8.7 minutes per game.

  Ilyasova is questionable for Sunday's Game 1 against the Grizzlies with a non-COVID-19 illness, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports. The 34-year-old is the only player listed on Utah's injury report heading into the opening round of the playoffs. Ilyasova averaged 8.7 minutes in 17 appearances this season and is unlikely to see worthwhile minutes during the postseason.
