  Miles tallied 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two steals, one rebound and one assist in 20 minutes during Friday's 123-115 loss to the Capital City Go-Go. Miles was lights out from the field and led all bench scorers with 17 points in just 20 minutes of action. The 17-year veteran made an NBA appearance in late December for the first time since 2019, but he couldn't solidify a role with Boston during his 10-day contract due to a stint in COVID-19 protocols.

Miles made just one appearance -- playing two minutes and failing to record any counting stats -- during his stint with Boston. The veteran guard's return to the NBA was stymied with him landing in the league's health and safety protocols in the middle of his 10-day contract. The 34-year-old's next step is unclear, but there are plenty of open roster spots around the league as COVID-19 continues to decimate depth charts.

  Miles signed a contract with the Celtics via hardship exemption Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Miles signed with the NBA G League Ignite on Friday, but he'll now join the shorthanded Celtics ahead of Monday's game against the 76ers. While it's not yet clear whether the 34-year-old will be available against Philadelphia, he could see some playing time while Boston deals with several absences.
