  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Ejected after double tech

Sengun was ejected in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.

Sengun was hit with two technical fouls after arguing a non-foul call midway through the fourth quarter. He'll end his night with 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block over 31 minutes. Clint Capela should see more minutes down the stretch in Sengun's absence.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Good to go

Sabonis (back) will play in Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.

Sabonis will return from a two-game absence due to lower back soreness. His return will likely push Maxime Raynaud back to the second unit. Since his minutes restriction was lifted Jan. 23, Sabonis is averaging 15.3 points, 10.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 29.3 minutes across four games.

  • Santi Aldama C | MEM

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Available, on minutes restriction

Aldama is available to play in Wednesday's game against Sacramento, but he'll play fewer minutes than normal, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

Aldama will return from a four-game absence due to a right knee injury, but he'll have his minutes monitored. The 24-year-old forward is averaging 28.0 minutes per game this season, and it's unclear exactly how much he'll play Wednesday. Regardless, he is part of the starting lineup, per Frankie Cartoscelli of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140, and Aldama should have a high usage rate given the absence of Jaren Jackson (recently traded) and Ja Morant (elbow).

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Checks back in

Towns (forehead) has returned to Wednesday's game against Denver, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.

Towns and Spencer Jones collided earlier in the game, which resulted in Towns sustaining a gash above his right eye. He briefly went back to the locker room after the collision, but he's been given the green light to return. It's unclear if the injury required stitches or if he was simply being checked for a concussion.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Questionable for Thursday

Embiid is listed questionable for Thursday's game versus the Lakers due to right knee injury management.

Embiid missed Tuesday's win over the Warriors, with that game coming as the second in a back-to-back set, and now he's being listed as questionable for Thursday's game. The 76ers should have a better idea regarding Embiid's status following shootaround Thursday morning, but if the veteran center is cleared to play ahead of the 10 p.m. ET tipoff, he should be in line for a normal 30-plus-minute workload.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Goes to locker room after collision

Towns went back to the locker room after sustaining a cut above his right eye during a collision with Spencer Jones in Wednesday's game against Denver, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.

Towns and Jones were both bleeding after the collision, but it seems Towns got the worst of the exchange. The center remained in the game with a bandage over the cut to shoot a pair of free throws, but he then exited the game and went back to the locker room. While Towns is on the sidelines, look for Mitchell Robinson to see most of the center minutes.

  • Celtics' Nikola Vucevic: Listed as out

Vucevic (recently traded) will be unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.

Vucevic was dealt from Chicago to Boston on Tuesday, but he's not quite ready to make his Celtics debut. Once he's settled in with his new team, the veteran center is likely to supplant Neemias Queta in the starting lineup. Vucevic's next chance to play will come Friday against Miami.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Bucks' Myles Turner: Cleared to play Wednesday

Turner (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

Turner popped up on the injury report as probable due to a left ankle sprain, but the veteran center has been given the green light to play in Wednesday's interconference clash. He has averaged 18.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.0 threes, 3.0 blocks and 1.2 steals over 30.4 minutes per game in his last five outings.

  • Balsa Koprivica: Rights traded to OKC

Oklahoma City acquired the rights to Koprivica from the Jazz on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Koprivica was selected 57th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft by Detroit, and his rights have previously been traded to the Clippers and Jazz. The 25-year-old hasn't made his NBA debut, and a return to the States isn't expected anytime soon.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Questionable for Thursday

Gafford is questionable for Thursday's game versus the Spurs due to a sprained right ankle.

Gafford has been dealing with nagging ankle injuries throughout the season, and there's a chance he could be forced to the sidelines yet again Thursday evening. If Gafford can't play, there will be more minutes available for Dwight Powell and Moussa Cisse.
