  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Out another four weeks

General manager Mitch Kupchak said Friday that Williams (back) will be re-evaluated in four weeks but is still expected to return this season, Schuyler Callihan of SI.com reports.

Williams hasn't played since Dec. 8 due to a lower-back injury and is taking longer than expected to fully heal, prompting the Hornets to shut him down from activity for another month. Since the Hornets aren't in playoff contention and Williams will still require some ramp-up time even if he's cleared to resume on-court work after the four-week re-evaluation, a return in the latter half of March looks to be a best-case scenario. Fantasy managers in most redraft leagues shouldn't bother holding Williams in light of his prolonged absence, while Nick Richards should have some stability as the team's starting center sans Williams.

  • Taj Gibson PF | MEM

Knicks' Taj Gibson: Signs second 10-day contract

The Knicks signed Gibson to a second 10-day contract Friday, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.

Gibson rejoined the Knicks at the end of January but has had an inconsistent role over the past few days. He wasn't part of the rotation for three matchups but has seen double-digit minutes in the last two games, averaging 2.5 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game. While he'll remain with the club on another 10-day deal, his role will likely continue to fluctuate.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Monster double-double Thursday

Drummond posted 21 points (10-11 FG, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 31 minutes during Thursday's 118-110 victory over the Grizzlies.

Drummond came off the bench after posting a solid performance Tuesday in a starting role against the Timberwolves, but he often finds ways to produce when given enough minutes, regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench. This was Drummond's sixth double-double since the beginning of February, and he's averaging 14.3 points with 16.1 rebounds per game in outings in which he logs 20-plus minutes.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Impressive at both ends Thursday

Allen produced 14 points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 30 minutes during Thursday's 118-95 victory over the Nets.

Allen made his presence felt at both ends of the court Thursday en route to recording his 15th double-double over his last 18 outings since the beginning of January. One of the most consistent two-way players in The Association, Allen is averaging 17.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 blocks per contest in that 18-game stretch.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Decent output in loss

Turner provided 15 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 23 minutes during Thursday's 131-109 loss to the Warriors.

Turner reached the 15-point mark for the third straight game, a run he hadn't accomplished since a six-game stretch between Dec. 20 and Dec. 31. The big man is averaging 16.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game across his last 10 outings, and while he holds a secondary role in the Pacers' offensive scheme, he remains a valuable fantasy asset due to his two-way contributions and his ability to stuff the stat sheet on any given night.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Swats two shots in return

Lopez (personal) tallied 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 26 minutes in Thursday's 129-105 loss to the Timberwolves.

Lopez rejoined the Bucks after he missed the past three games due to his wife giving birth to the couple's first child. He took back his usual spot in the starting five Thursday and contributed solid numbers across the board, though his minutes were suppressed due to the blowout nature of the game.

  • Celtics' Xavier Tillman: No timetable to return

Tillman (knee) said Friday that he doesn't have a timetable to return, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Tillman was traded from the Grizzlies to the Celtics on Wednesday, but he's been dealing with a left knee injury recently. He participated in Boston's morning shootaround ahead of Friday's game against the Wizards, but his comments afterward imply that he'll be sidelined against Washington. Once Tillman is healthy, he will fight for reserve center minutes with Al Horford and Luke Kornet.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Won't debut Friday

Holmes (traded pending) is out for Friday's game versus the Celtics.

Holmes was traded from the Mavericks on Thursday but won't make his Washington debut against Boston. With the Wizards trading away Daniel Gafford and Marvin Bagley (back) out, the team will be left thin at center. Holmes' next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.

  • Grizzlies' Trey Jemison: Inks two-way deal

The Grizzlies signed Jemison to a two-way contract Friday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

After GG Jackson was upgraded from a two-way contract to a four-year NBA deal, Memphis was left with an open two-way spot. Jemison will fill that spot after making six appearances, including two starts for the Grizzlies. The 23-year-old big man is averaging 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.2 minutes across that span.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Career night in OT win

Duren racked up 27 points (9-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 22 rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 37 minutes during Thursday's 128-122 overtime victory over the Trail Blazers.

The 22 boards were a career high for Duren while the 27 points were a season high, as the second-year center put a shorthanded Pistons roster on his shoulders after a busy trade deadline. Duren has an impressive 26 double-doubles in 36 games this season, and he's scored in double digits in nine straight games, averaging 15.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists over that stretch while shooting 65.6 percent from the floor and 85.2 percent from the free-throw line.
