Bruno Fernando C | TOR
Hawks' Bruno Fernando: Set to return Friday
Fernando isn't on the injury report for Friday's game versus the Suns.
Fernando will return to action Friday after missing the previous five games with back spasms. The 25-year-old big man will likely compete for depth minutes in Atlanta's frontcourt.

Bol Bol C | PHO
Suns' Bol Bol: Probable for Friday
Bol (foot) is probable for Friday's game against the Hawks, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
It looks like Bol will be returning from a 10-game absence Friday evening, but he'll likely have a marginal role with the second unit, so he can safely remain on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.

Mike Muscala C | OKC
Pistons' Mike Muscala: Sustains concussion
Muscala has been diagnosed with a concussion and won't be available for Friday's game against the Clippers, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Muscala will need to go through league-mandated concussion protocol testing before he's cleared to return, so he's likely looking at a multi-game absence. The Pistons turned to Muscala as a starter in place of Isaiah Stewart (ankle) in Wednesday's 128-121 loss to the Cavaliers, only for Muscala to exit that contest with the head injury after playing just three minutes. Stewart has since been ruled out for the next 10-to-14 days, so while Muscala joins him on the sideline for Friday's contest, the Pistons could turn to Danilo Gallinari, Ausar Thompson and Kevin Knox to fill minutes at power forward.

Orlando Robinson C | ORL
Heat's Orlando Robinson: Headed back to NBA
The Heat recalled Robinson from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the G League on Thursday, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Robinson will be available for Friday's contest against the Wizards. The second-year big man is averaging 4.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 11.5 minutes across his 20 appearances for the Heat this season.

Jontay Porter C | TOR
Raptors' Jontay Porter: Unlikely to play Friday
Porter (back) is doubtful for Friday's game versus the Rockets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Porter is expected to miss Friday's contest due to a back injury he suffered against Chicago. With Jakob Poeltl (ankle) questionable, Thaddeus Young should continue to receive increased minutes against Houston.

Jakob Poeltl C | TOR
Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Nabs questionable tag
Poeltl (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game versus the Rockets, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
Poeltl is in danger of missing his 12th straight contest Friday with a sprained left ankle despite returning to practice Thursday. With Jontay Porter (back) doubtful, Thaddeus Young could continue to receive extended minutes at the center position.

Jakob Poeltl C | TOR
Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Full participant in practice
Poeltl (ankle) fully participated in Thursday's practice session, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
Poeltl has missed the last 11 games due to a sprained left ankle, but his full participation in practice is an encouraging sign. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available Friday against Houston, but he seems to be trending toward a return to game action. However, once Poeltl is cleared to return, it wouldn't be surprising to see him face a minutes restriction during his first few games back.

Bam Adebayo PF | MIA
Heat's Bam Adebayo: Double-double in Wednesday's win
Adebayo logged 16 points (8-14 FG), 11 rebounds and four assists across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 115-106 win over the Kings.
The double-double was Adebayo's 25th of the season in 38 games, tying him for 10th in the league with Jonas Valanciunas and Nikola Vucevic. Adebayo's scoring has taken a bit of a step back of late -- he's failed to score 20 points in five straight games -- but he's still been productive, averaging 18.5 points, 11.0 boards, 4.5 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 steals through 16 contests in January.

Richaun Holmes C | WAS
Mavericks' Richaun Holmes: Top rebounder in double-double game
Holmes totaled 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 121-87 loss to the Timberwolves.
Holmes replaced Dereck Lively (nose) in the starting lineup Wednesday, leading all players in the contest in rebounds while ending as one of four Mavericks with a double-digit point total in a double-double performance. Holmes tied a season high in rebounds, his second such outing of the year. The double-double marked the first of the season and is the second time he has crossed double figures in scoring.

Domantas Sabonis C | SAC
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Triple-double in Miami
Sabonis finished Wednesday's 115-106 loss to the Heat with 19 points (7-14 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 17 rebounds, 13 assists, one block and one steal in 38 minutes.
It's the 13th triple-double of the season for Sabonis, one off the career high he set in 2022-23, and he's delivered at least a double-double in 29 straight games -- putting him two back of Oscar Robertson's official franchise record of 31, set in 1961 when the team was still in Cincinnati. Sabonis wraps up a sizzling January having averaged 20.8 points, 14.5 boards and 9.0 assists through 15 games while shooting 66.5 percent from the floor.
