  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Dices up Lakers

Sengun finished Monday's 135-119 win over the Lakers with 31 points (14-23 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block in 40 minutes.

Sengun shredded the Lakers' interior defense while helping Houston dominate the rebounding battle -- the Rockets grabbed 56 boards compared to just 35 for the Lakers. The center benefited from a hobbled Anthony Davis (Achilles/groin) on Monday, but Sengun has shined throughout January regardless of the quality of his opposition. In 16 appearances this month, Sengun is averaging 23.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 33.8 minutes per contest while shooting 54.9 percent from the floor.

  • Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Cleared to play

Powell (eye) is available for Monday's game against the Magic.

Powell will return to action Monday after missing three straight games due to a scratched cornea in his left eye. Maxi Kleber (toe) and Dereck Lively are also available, so Powell's bench role will likely be limited.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Good to go Monday

Nurkic (thumb) is active Monday versus the Heat, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Nurkic will return from a one-game absence to square off against Bam Adebayo in Miami on Monday. He has averaged a quiet 6.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists across his last three games.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Questionable for Tuesday

Turner (back) has been ruled questionable for Tuesday's game against the Celtics.

Turner missed Sunday's match against the Grizzlies and is in danger of missing a second straight contest. The Pacers could really use his production, as he averages 17.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 1.3 assists and 0.5 steals over 27.5 minutes this season, but if he can't go, Jalen Smith (back), Pascal Siakam and Isaiah Jackson could split minutes at center.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Deemed game-time decision

The Suns are viewing Nurkic (thumb) as a game-time decision for Monday's tilt with the Heat, Amanda Pflugrad of 3TV Phoenix reports.

Nurkic is at risk of missing his second consecutive game due to a left thumb sprain. Drew Eubanks would likely draw another start if Nurkic isn't cleared to play ahead of Monday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Spurs' Zach Collins: Won't play Monday

Collins (ankle) has been ruled out of Monday's game against the Wizards, Ty Jager of FanSided.com reports.

Collins will miss a second straight game due to right ankle soreness. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday versus Orlando. In Collins' absence, Dominick Barlow should operate as the primary backup center again.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

    Celtics' Luke Kornet: Out Monday

Kornet (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pelicans, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

As expected, Kornet has been downgraded from doubtful to out. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday versus Indiana.

  • Hawks' Bruno Fernando: Out again Tuesday

Fernando (back) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Tuesday night will mark Fernando's fifth consecutive missed game due to injury, and he has missed eight out of the Hawks' last nine. In the 13 games in which he has appeared in this season, Fernando has averaged 2.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.4 blocks, 0.3 assists and 0.2 steals over 6.5 minutes.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Downgraded to out

Porzingis (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pelicans, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Despite being active at the team's morning shootaround, Porzingis has been downgraded from questionable to out, joining Luke Kornet (hamstring) on the sidelines. Al Horford (neck) is available and should start in Porzingis' absence once again. Porzingis' next chance to suit up will come during the second half of Boston's back-to-back set versus Indiana on Tuesday, but his availability for that contest will likely be a game-time decision.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Good to go

Horford (neck) is available for Monday's game against the Pelicans, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Horford has been upgraded from questionable to available, while Luke Kornet (hamstring) and Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) have been ruled out. Horford should start at center versus New Orleans, which would mark his 19th time with the first unit this season. In his prior 18 appearances as a starter, Horford averaged 8.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 blocks in 30.8 minutes per game.
