Al Horford C | GS
Celtics' Al Horford: Back to bench
Horford will come off the bench Thursday against the Heat.
Horford slotted into the starting lineup for Monday's matchup against the Mavs due to Kristaps Porzingis missing time due to right knee inflammation, but Porzingis has been cleared to run the floor Thursday night. Horford is averaging 8.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 blocks through nine January appearances.

Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Won't play Thursday
Hartenstein (Achilles) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Nuggets, Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reports.
Hartenstein was questionable for Thursday's matchup, but he'll be unavailable for a second consecutive game due to an Achilles injury. Jericho Sims will likely draw another start for the Knicks on Thursday, while Hartenstein's next chance to return will be Saturday against Miami.

Dwight Powell C | DAL
Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Won't play against Atlanta

Clint Capela C | HOU
Hawks' Clint Capela: Questionable for Friday
Capela is questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks due to a left calf contusion, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Capela has posted double-doubles in his last two appearances, but he's dealing with a calf issue ahead of Friday's matchup. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available, but Onyeka Okongwu and Bruno Fernando (back) are candidates to see increased run if Cappella is sidelined.

Bruno Fernando C | TOR
Hawks' Bruno Fernando: Game-time call for Friday
Fernando (back) is questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks.
Fernando missed Wednesday's game against the Warriors due to back spasms, and his availability remains in doubt for Friday's matchup. It shouldn't impact Atlanta's rotation much if he's unable to go.

Jakob Poeltl C | TOR
Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Officially ruled out
Poeltl (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Clippers, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
Coach Darko Rajakovic said Thursday that Poeltl was unlikely to play against the Clippers, so it isn't very surprising to see the center officially ruled out. However, Poeltl has made progress in his recovery recently, and he's considered day-to-day after doing half-court work Wednesday.

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Unlikely to play Friday
Poeltl (ankle) is unlikely to play Friday against the Clippers, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
Poeltl did half-court work Wednesday and is considered day-to-day for now, but he'll likely be forced to miss a ninth consecutive game due to his ankle injury. The center will likely need to progress to full-contact work before he's in the mix to return to game action, but he at least seems to be trending in the right direction.

Chet Holmgren PF | OKC
Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Matches up against ROTY rival
Holmgren ended with 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 140-114 win over the Spurs.
Holmgren didn't quite reach the box score productivity of his Rookie of the Year rival Victor Wembanyama, and the two rookie big men had a fun exchange of blocks and buckets in the fourth quarter. Holmgren's production has dipped slightly in the new year. Over his last six games, he has averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3.2 steals over 31.7 minutes per game.
