  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Solid numbers in losing effort

Embiid contributed 22 points (8-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 14 rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes during Sunday's 120-117 loss to the Hawks.

After pouring in a season-high 39 points in Friday's win over the Hawks, Embiid took a back seat as a scorer Sunday but excelled at attack the glass en route to notching his first double-double of the season. He's logged at least 30 minutes in three straight games, an encouraging trend as he works his way back from the arthroscopic left knee surgery he underwent back in April. The 76ers will return to action Friday in New York in the first game of a back-to-back set, so expect Embiid to sit out that game or Saturday's home date versus the Mavericks for maintenance purposes.

  • Naz Reid C | MIN

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Posts double-double in win

Reid produced 20 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 35 minutes of Sunday's 117-103 win over the Kings.

Rudy Gobert left this game early for personal reasons, so the Timberwolves leaned on Reid to close this one out, and he didn't disappoint. Reid has been on a heater for Minnesota lately, posting averages of 16.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.7 three-pointers over his last six outings.

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Done for night

Gobert (personal reasons) won't return to Sunday's game against the Kings.

He finished the night with seven points (3-4 FG, 1-6 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one block across 20 minutes. With Gobert taking an early exit, Naz Reid is likely to pick up some minutes to close this one out.

  • Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Doubtful for Monday

Clarke (knee) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Clippers, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.

While it's unlikely that Clarke will play, simply receiving the doubtful tag can be considered a sign of progress. Clarke recently got in a practice with Memphis' G League affiliate, which is a big step in his rehab from knee surgery.

  • Hornets' Ryan Kalkbrenner: Three rejections Sunday

Kalkbrenner ended Sunday's 119-111 overtime victory over the Cavaliers with seven points (3-4 FG, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, three blocks and one steal in 20 minutes.

The second-round rookie recorded multiple rejections for the sixth time in the last eight games (seven starts), although his three boards were his lowest total during that stretch. Kalkbrenner's defensive contributions are keeping him in the starting five, but over those eight contests he's averaging just 8.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 25.6 minutes.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Double-double off bench Sunday

Jackson finished Sunday's 108-89 loss to the Wizards with 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds and two blocks in 23 minutes off the bench.

It's the fifth double-double of the season for the fifth-year center and second in the last eight games since he moved back to the second unit in late November. During that span, Jackson's averaging 7.6 points, 6.6 boards, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks in just 18.0 minutes a contest while backing up Jay Huff in the paint.

  • Yang Hansen C | POR

Trail Blazers' Yang Hansen: Cleared to play Sunday

Hansen (face) is available for Sunday's game against the Warriors, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.

Hansen didn't play in Thursday's loss to the Pelicans due to a face injury, but the rookie first-rounder has been cleared to play Sunday. He started in his last outing, but he'll likely come off the bench due to the returns of Donovan Clingan (lower leg) and Robert Williams (illness).

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Will play Sunday

Clingan (leg) is good to go for Sunday's game versus the Warriors, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.

Clingan is set to return from a three-game absence, which could result in Jerami Grant heading back to the second unit. There will also be fewer minutes available for Robert Williams, Duop Reath and Yang Hansen.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Good to go Sunday

Williams (illness) is available for Sunday's game against the Warriors, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.

The Trail Blazers are getting some reinforcements for their frontcourt Sunday with Williams returning from a three-game absence. Donovan Clingan (leg) is also good to go, so Williams will likely reprise his role as the backup center.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Jazz's Jusuf Nurkic: Will rest Monday

Nurkic (rest) will not play Monday against Dallas, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.

This is simply a maintenance day for Utah's starting center. He'll likely be back in the lineup Thursday against the Lakers. With Nurkic resting, players such as Kevin Love, Kyle Filipowski and Taylor Hendricks could be more involved for the Jazz.
