  • Naz Reid C | MIN

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Headed to bench

Reid will come off the bench for Tuesday's game in Utah.

Rudy Gobert is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game, so Reid will retreat to the second unit. As a reserve this season, Reid has posted averages of 14.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.5 triples per contest.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

    Heat's Kel'el Ware: Won't play Tuesday

Ware (hamstring) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game in Sacramento.

Ware is dealing with some tightness in his hamstring, so the Heat will err on the side of caution with their second-year center on the second leg of a back-to-back set. His absence will open up minutes for Nikola Jovic. For now, Ware should be considered questionable for Thursday's game in Portland.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Starting sans Embiid

Drummond is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Suns, per Ky Carlin of USA Today.

Joel Embiid (ankle) is receiving a maintenance day Tuesday, allowing Drummond to enter the first unit. Drummond makes sense as a plug-and-play fantasy option, as he's averaging 9.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.8 blocks in 26.6 minutes per tilt across 15 starts this season.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Out indefinitely with Grade 3 sprain

Rockets head coach Ime Udoka said Tuesday that Adams has been diagnosed with a Grade 3 left ankle sprain and will be out indefinitely, Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network reports.

Though Adams avoided any fractures to his ankle after he was forced out of Sunday's 119-110 win over the Pelicans, he's dealing with a significant sprain that will keep him out for an extended period. The Rockets likely won't provide a target date for Adams' return until he resumes on-court work, but Jeff Stotts of InStreetClothes.com notes that NBA players historically require at least two months to recover from Grade 3 ankle sprains. With Adams sidelined for the foreseeable future, the Rockets are likely to incorporate Clint Capela into the rotation on a more regular basis as the top backup to starting center Alperen Sengun. In 32 appearances (11 starts) so far this season, Adams has averaged 5.8 points and 8.6 rebounds across 22.8 minutes per tilt.

  • Santi Aldama C | MEM

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Questionable for Wednesday

Aldama is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Hawks due to right knee soreness.

We'll have a better idea on Aldama's status following Wednesday's shootaround, but if he's unable to give it a go, that would open up minutes for John Konchar, Vince Williams and GG Jackson. Check back closer to Wednesday's tip for official word on Aldama's status.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Bucks' Myles Turner: Questionable for Wednesday

Turner is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder due to a sprained left ankle.

The ankle injury is a new concern for Turner, who has missed just one game this season. If the veteran center isn't cleared to play Wednesday, Bobby Portis would likely get the starting nod, while Pete Nance and Jericho Sims could see increased playing time. Turner has averaged 10.3 points and 4.7 rebounds across 25.3 minutes per tilt in seven January appearances thus far.

  • Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Ruled out for Wednesday

Hartenstein (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.

Hartenstein hasn't played since Dec. 28 due to a right soleus strain and remains without a clear timetable for a return. The big man should be considered doubtful for Friday's game against the Pacers until Oklahoma City offers an update on his status.

  • Suns' Mark Williams: Good to go Tuesday

Williams (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the 76ers, Amanda Pflugrad of 3TV Phoenix reports.

After posting 16 points (5-6 FG, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals over 29 minutes during Monday's win over the Nets, Williams will shed his questionable tag and suit up in the second leg of this back-to-back set. The fourth-year big man has appeared in all 10 of the Suns' games so far this month, averaging 11.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 24.5 minutes per game over that stretch.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Questionable with illness

Sharpe is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks with an illness, per Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com.

After sitting out Monday's loss to the Suns, Sharpe is at risk of missing consecutive outings with the ailment. Nic Claxton would likely take on all the playing time he can handle if Sharpe ends up being sidelined once again, while Danny Wolf would be set to play the backup center role Wednesday.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Questionable with tight hamstring

Ware is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Kings due to right hamstring tightness, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Ware is in danger of missing the second half of a back-to-back set after posting 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists across 18 minutes during Monday's 135-112 loss to the Warriors. If the second-year big man is ultimately unable to suit up, the Heat would depend heavily upon Bam Adebayo at center Tuesday. Nikola Jovic could also see an expanded role in this case.
