  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Questionable for Friday

Towns (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Hawks.

Towns was a very late addition to the injury report and is in jeopardy of missing the front end of this back-to-back set. Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is also questionable, so the Knicks could need players such as Ariel Hukporti and Guerschon Yabusele to step up in the frontcourt.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Out for personal reasons

Claxton (personal) will not play Friday against the Wizards.

This is a tough blow for Brooklyn, as the team is already very shorthanded for the second leg of this back-to-back set. With Claxton sidelined, Day'Ron Sharpe and Danny Wolf will likely see sizable workloads for the Nets.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Grabs 10 rebounds in win

Niederhauser amassed six points (3-7 FG), 10 rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 27 minutes during Thursday's 118-101 win over Utah.

Niederhauser has taken on a larger role with Ivica Zubac (ankle) sidelined, logging 25 and 27 minutes over the past two games. The 2025 first-round pick finished second on the team in rebounds, with six of them being offensive boards, and tied for the team lead with two blocks. The rookie center is averaging 11.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in 26 minutes over the past two games.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Grabs 13 boards in victory

Ware registered four points (1-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two blocks and two steals over 27 minutes during Thursday's 118-112 win over Detroit.

After averaging 16.7 points per game on 66.7 percent shooting from the field over his previous three games, Ware struggled to get going on the offensive end Thursday. However, he made his presence felt in other ways, grabbing double-digit rebounds for the fifth time in his last eight outings. Additionally, the second-year center recorded a team-high two blocks and tied the team-best mark in steals, logging multiple swats and multiple swipes for just the second time this season.

  • Bam Adebayo PF | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Grabs 14 boards in win

Adebayo closed Thursday's 118-112 win over the Pistons with 15 points (5-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 14 rebounds, two steals and one block over 33 minutes.

Although Adebayo struggled with efficiency, he still finished as Miami's fourth-leading scorer. The star big man was also active on the glass, grabbing a game-high 14 rebounds and securing his second consecutive double-double. While he has been able to provide value through his rebounding of late, Adebayo has struggled on the offensive end. Over his last five appearances, the 28-year-old has averaged 13.4 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals while shooting just 40.7 percent from the field in 31.6 minutes per contest.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Scores 20 points in return

Sengun amassed 20 points (8-12 FG, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block over 34 minutes during Thursday's 120-96 victory over the Nets.

Sengun returned from a two-game absence due to a left soleus strain and saw his usual workload Thursday. The star big man turned in an efficient outing and finished as Houston's third-leading scorer, posting 20-plus points for the second time in his last five appearances. He also dished out the second-most assists on the squad behind Kevin Durant (11). Over his last five outings, Sengun has averaged 17.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 32.8 minutes per contest.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Logs career high in assists

Sharpe closed Thursday's 120-96 loss to the Rockets with eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 19 minutes.

After shooting 1-for-3 from the field across 12 minutes in Monday's loss to Golden State, Sharpe bounced back and provided a solid all-around effort Thursday. The big man recorded a team- and career-high seven assists, dishing out at least five dimes for the third time this season. Sharpe continues to see relatively consistent playing time off the bench behind Nic Claxton, and the former has averaged 7.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 17.8 minutes per game over his last five outings.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Near double-double vs. Philadelphia

Davis posted 13 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal over 37 minutes during the Mavericks' 123-108 loss to the 76ers on Thursday.

Davis was initially going to be limited to 30-34 minutes in his return from a two-game absence due to right adductor soreness, but he ended up playing a team-high 37 minutes while finishing two rebounds shy from recording his 11th double-double of the season. Over his last 10 outings, the star big man has averaged 19.3 points on 50.6 percent shooting, 11.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 steals over 30.6 minutes per game.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Chips in 22 points in win

Embiid finished Thursday's 123-108 win over Dallas with 22 points (9-18 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six assists, four rebounds and one block over 35 minutes.

Embiid scored 14 of his 22 points in the first half and finished Thursday's game as the 76ers' third-leading scorer behind Tyrese Maxey (34 points) and VJ Edgecombe (23 points). Embiid has been working through knee and ankle injuries of late, but he has played 38 and 35 minutes in each of his last two outings. The 76ers will conclude their five-game road trip Saturday against the Knicks.

  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Back in starting lineup

Filipowski is in the Jazz's starting lineup against the Clippers on Thursday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Filipowski has come off the bench in each of the Jazz's last three games, but the second-year big man will draw the start Thursday due to the absence of Jusuf Nurkic (toe). Filipowski has started 11 regular-season games thus far, and as a starter he is averaging 11.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 threes over 25.8 minutes per game.
