Alex Sarr C | WAS
Wizards' Alex Sarr: Strong numbers in limited minutes
Sarr (adductor) registered 18 points (8-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one block across 24 minutes Thursday in the Wizards' 119-94 loss to the Spurs.
Aside from a 6-for-14 showing from two-point range, Sarr generally performed well in his return from a right adductor strain, which had kept him out for the Wizards' last six games. Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly (23 minutes) -- who had missed the previous four contests with an oblique injury -- saw far less playing time than the rest of the Wizards' starters, but both should see their minutes restrictions lifted after getting another game or two under their belt. The Wizards have a Saturday/Sunday back-to-back set coming up against the Grizzlies and Spurs, respectively, so Sarr could be a candidate to sit out one of those games for maintenance purposes.

Donovan Clingan C | POR
Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Extends range behind the arc
Clingan finished with 19 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-13 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks over 35 minutes during Thursday's 134-133 overtime win over the Kings.
Clingan was impressive overall against Sacramento. The Connecticut product is known for hitting the glass and protecting the rim, which he did Thursday to the tune of eight boards and two blocks. He also sank a pair of three-pointers, which is huge for Portland's offense. If Clingan can draw rim protectors to the arc, it will open more space for his teammates to drive.

Isaiah Hartenstein C | OKC
Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Back in action Friday
Hartenstein (calf, rest) will be available for Friday's game against Minnesota.
As expected, Hartenstein is no longer on the injury report after getting the night off for maintenance Thursday against the Clippers. The big man is averaging a double-double this season with 12.1 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Maxime Raynaud C | SAC
Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Notches best game of career
Raynaud chipped in 29 points (10-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 37 minutes during Thursday's 134-133 overtime loss to Portland.
The rookie has a new career high in scoring following the overtime loss to Portland. Raynaud's 11 rebounds also tied his best performance on the glass this year. The Stanford product is seeing increased run while Domantas Sabonis works his way back from a meniscus tear. In December, Raynaud is averaging 17.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per game. While Sabonis could return to the court soon, Raynaud is making the case to continue receiving ample playing time.

Mitchell Robinson C | NY
Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Back in action Friday
Robinson (ankle) is good to go for Friday's game against the 76ers.
Robinson isn't cleared for back-to-back sets and was held out Thursday against Indiana for maintenance. He's expected to reprise his usual role behind Karl-Anthony Towns on Friday.
-
Karl-Anthony Towns C | NY
Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Expected to play
Towns (knee) is probable for Friday's game against the 76ers.
After missing the front end of this back-to-back set Thursday, Towns is expected back in the lineup. Presumably, the Knicks were just being cautious with Towns following their NBA Cup run. With Towns expected back, Ariel Hukporti will likely slide back to the bench after logging 27 minutes Thursday.

Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Won't play Friday
Embiid won't play Friday against the Knicks due to an illness and right knee injury management.
Despite going through shootaround, Embiid was unable to shake off his questionable tag. The 76ers may have been planning to hold Embiid out for Friday's contest all along, as he has yet to be cleared to play in both ends of back-to-back sets. Look for Andre Drummond to see the bulk of the minutes at center Friday, but Embiid could be back in the starting five Saturday versus the Mavericks.
-
Myles Turner C | MIL
Bucks' Myles Turner: Tallies 21 points in defeat
Turner accumulated 21 points (6-14 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes during Thursday's 111-105 loss to the Raptors.
Turner put on a solid display, scoring more than 20 points for the first time in nine games. His first season in Milwaukee hasn't gone as planned, but Turner is more than capable of stringing together a handful of excellent results and should continue to see increased usage until Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) returns to action.
-
Trey Jemison C | NY
Knicks' Trey Jemison: Makes rare appearance Thursday
Jemison ended with five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 18 minutes during Thursday's 114-113 win over the Pacers.
Jemison took advantage of his few opportunities and recorded his most minutes this season. The Knicks were without Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) and Mitchell Robinson (ankle) on Thursday, so it's unlikely Jemison, who's operating on a two-way deal, will take on a major role moving forward. However, he could be a reliable option for rebounds when included in the rotation.

Moe Wagner C | ORL
Magic's Moritz Wagner: Back to NBA
Orlando recalled Wagner (knee) from the G League's Osceola Magic on Thursday.
Wagner hasn't played since December 2024 due to an ACL injury, but he's now aiming to return at some point in the current season. While not guaranteed to get minutes in the near future, Wagner has rejoined the NBA squad as he continues to ramp up his workload.
