Daniel Gafford C | DAL
Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Available to play
Gafford (ankle) is available to play Wednesday against the Heat.
Gafford will return to the floor after a two-game absence, which should result in fewer minutes for Dwight Powell and Moussa Cisse. Gafford is averaging 9.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game this season.

Zach Collins C | CHI
Bulls' Zach Collins: Won't play Wednesday
Collins (wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Nets, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
Collins, who has yet to make his regular-season debut as he's been recovering from wrist surgery, was listed as questionable for the first time this season for Wednesday's game. While he won't take the floor Wednesday night, he does appear to be on the cusp of a return, so maybe he'll be able to get out there for Friday's game against the Pacers.

Donovan Clingan C | POR
Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Cleared to play
Clingan (leg) will play Wednesday against the Cavaliers.
A left lower leg contusion won't stop Clingan from playing Wednesday. The second-year center has averaged 10.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 blocks per contest in 20 games this season.

Nikola Jokic C | DEN
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Available to play
Jokic (wrist) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
Jokic, who has yet to miss a game this season, will shake off another probable tag for this contest. This is an injury he continues to manage, but there's no report of any restrictions.

Yves Missi C | NO
Pelicans' Yves Missi: Ruled out for Thursday
Missi (foot, ankle) won't play in Thursday's game against Minnesota.
The 2024 first-rounder also had to sit out Tuesday's meeting with the Timberwolves with right foot and ankle soreness. His absence locks Derik Queen into big minutes Thursday, while Kevon Looney should sprinkle in as the backup center.
-
Joel Embiid C | PHI
76ers' Joel Embiid: Doubtful for Thursday
Embiid (knee) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Warriors.
Philadelphia gave Embiid the night off for right knee injury management Tuesday against the Wizards, and he'll likely sit for a second straight time Thursday. It's possible the 76ers are preparing for him to play in the second leg of this back-to-back set Friday against the Bucks, but nothing is set in stone given his troublesome injury history. Andre Drummond is likely going to be relied upon heavily Thursday.
-
Alex Sarr C | WAS
Wizards' Alex Sarr: Out again Thursday
Sarr (thigh) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Celtics.
Thursday will mark the third consecutive game on the sidelines for Sarr, and it's not a great sign that he continues to get ruled out a full day in advance of tip-off. Considering there haven't been any updates of Sarr ramping up his workload, he should be considered doubtful for Saturday's game against the Hawks. Marvin Bagley and Tristan Vukcevic will continue to pick up the slack in Sarr's absence.
-
Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA
Jazz's Jusuf Nurkic: Questionable for Thursday
Nurkic is questionable for Thursday's game in Brooklyn due to a right rib contusion.
Thursday's game will be the first of a back-to-back, so there's certainly a chance Nurkic will skip that one. If he does need a day off, there will be more minutes available for Taylor Hendricks, Kyle Filipowski and Kyle Anderson.
-
Jakob Poeltl C | TOR
Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Won't play Thursday
Poeltl (rest) will sit out Thursday's game against the Lakers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Poeltl will take a maintenance day on the front end of a back-to-back set, but he should return to action Friday against the Hornets. Collin Murray-Boyles will have an opportunity to start Thursday night, and there will be more minutes available for Sandro Mamukelashvili.
-
Trayce Jackson-Davis C | TOR
Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Questionable for Thursday
Jackson-Davis (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the 76ers.
Jackson-Davis is in danger of missing his third straight game due to right knee soreness. Quinten Post (ankle) and Al Horford (back) could also be out, so Draymond Green may need to absorb all the minutes he can handle at center.
