  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Grabs eight boards in return

Allen (finger) posted eight points (3-6 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block across 28 minutes in Friday's 130-123 loss to the Hawks.

Allen made his return from a three-game absence due to a right middle finger strain and didn't operate with any limitations, as he stepped back into the starting five and ended up surpassing his season-long average in minutes (26.1). The veteran center's scoring average is up nearly a full point from the 2024-25 campaign (13.5 points per game to 14.3), but his 57.3 percent mark from the field is down over 13.0 percentage points from last season.

  • Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Out vs. Philadelphia

Porzingis (illness) is out for Sunday's game against the 76ers, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Porzingis will miss a second straight game due to an illness, and the lack of availability continues to be an issue with the big man, who's now missed nine of the Hawks' 21 games this season. With Porzingis out, Onyeka Okongwu should draw another start at center.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Questionable to play Sunday

Adams (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jazz.

Adams has been a regular on the injury report due to a right ankle injury, but the questionable tag suggests the big man should have a chance to suit up this weekend. If Adams doesn't play, Clint Capela would be in line to take his place in the lineup.

  • Celtics' Neemias Queta: Good to go Saturday

Queta (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Queta has been officially cleared to return from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury, and his return means Luka Garza will likely revert to a bench role. Queta is averaging 9.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 blocks over 23.6 minutes per game.

  • Suns' Mark Williams: Questionable to play Saturday

Williams (calf) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Nuggets.

Williams is working through right calf soreness, which puts him in jeopardy of missing Saturday's home game. If he's unable to play, Oso Ighodaro and Nick Richards would be the top candidates to start at center.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Not playing Saturday

Gafford (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Clippers.

Gafford would have been in line to return to the starting lineup Saturday due to the absence of Anthony Davis (calf). However, Gafford will also miss the second leg of the Mavericks' back-to-back set Saturday while managing a right ankle injury. With Davis, Gafford and Dereck Lively (foot) all sidelined, Moussa Cisse and Dwight Powell are the top candidates to enter the Mavericks' starting lineup. Gafford's next opportunity to play arrives Monday against the Nuggets.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Dealing with wrist sprain

Jokic is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Suns due to a left wrist sprain.

Jokic has yet to miss a game this season, but he's in jeopardy of being sidelined for Saturday's contest due to a left wrist injury. If the three-time MVP is not cleared to play, then Jonas Valanciunas would be the top candidate to enter the Nuggets' starting lineup.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Probable Saturday

Vucevic (knee) is probable for Saturday's game against the Pacers.

It was unclear if Vucevic would play Friday, but he powered through the knee injury and produced 13 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and one steal against the Hornets. It seems likely he'll play through it again Saturday.

  • Celtics' Neemias Queta: Upgraded to probable

Queta (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday's game against Minnesota, Marc D'Amico of the Celtics' official site reports.

Queta missed Wednesday's game against the Pistons due to a sprained left ankle. He appears poised to return Saturday, which means Luka Garza would likely revert to the bench. Across the five games before his injury, Queta averaged 11.0 points on 64.3 percent shooting, 7.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 blocks over 22.2 minutes per game.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Won't play Saturday

Duren is out for Saturday's matchup against the Heat due to a lower left leg contusion.

Duren is coming off a strong performance against the Magic but suffered an injury in the process. As a result, the center will miss his third game of the season. In his stead, more minutes should be available for Isaiah Stewart and Paul Reed.
