  • Yves Missi C | NO

Pelicans' Yves Missi: Headed to bench

Missi will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Zion Williamson is back, so Missi will return to the bench. As a member of the second unit this season, Missi has produced averages of 4.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per contest.

  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Draws first start of season

Bagley is in the Wizards' starting lineup against the Timberwolves on Wednesday.

The Wizards will turn to Bagley as the starting center Wednesday due to the absence of Alex Sarr (toe). Bagley came off the bench in each of the Wizards' first 13 games of the regular season and is averaging 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.5 steals over 14.6 minutes per game.

  • Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Making first start of season

Jackson-Davis is in the Warriors' starting lineup against the Heat on Wednesday, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.

Jackson-Davis' insertion into the starting lineup is due to the Warriors sitting the likes of Draymond Green (illness), Al Horford (toe) and Jimmy Butler (back) following Tuesday's loss to the Magic. Wednesday marks Jackson-Davis' first start of the season, though he did start in 37 of 63 regular-season games during the 2024-25 campaign. As a starter last season, he averaged 8.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 20.5 minutes per game.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Headed to bench

Ware will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Bam Adebayo (toe) is back and starting, which will shift Ware back to the second unit. As a reserve this season, Ware owns averages of 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 triples, 1.7 steals and 1.3 swats per contest.

  • Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Questionable for Thursday

Porzingis (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Spurs, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Porzingis has missed three straight games due to right knee soreness, and he's at risk of missing a fourth. If he's sidelined Thursday, Onyeka Okongwu and Mouhamed Gueye would likely see an uptick in playing time.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Joining first unit

Adams is starting Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network reports.

Adams will draw his third start of the season and his first since Oct. 24 as Houston elects to shake up the starting five. He provided a spark off the bench in his previous two appearances, snagging 24 total rebounds over 45 minutes of action. Josh Okogie will move to a bench role as a result of this lineup change.

  • Bam Adebayo PF | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Will play Wednesday

Adebayo (toe) will play Wednesday versus the Warriors, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Head coach Erik Spoelstra said that he will monitor Adebayo's minutes in his first game back from a six-game absence, but even with a minutes limit, Adebayo is a must-play option in fantasy leagues. He should start, which will likely shift Kel'el Ware back to the second unit.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Won't play Wednesday

Sarr (toe) will not play Wednesday against the Timberwolves.

Sarr was previously considered questionable, but he'll sit out for the first time this season Wednesday. His next chance to play comes Friday against the Raptors. With Sarr sidelined, Marvin Bagley and Tristan Vukcevic are candidates to see increased run at center.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Will rest Wednesday

Williams (rest) will not play Wednesday against the Bulls.

Wednesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so Williams will get a maintenance day due to his lengthy injury history. With Williams out, the Trail Blazers could turn to rookie Yang Hansen for a handful of minutes off the bench. Duop Reath is also an option in the frontcourt.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Confirmed out for Wednesday

Embiid (knee) has been downgraded to out for Wednesday's game against Toronto.

No surprise here, as the 76ers previously listed the center as doubtful. This will be his fifth straight game on the shelf, but he has logged a couple of practices with the team, which means a return in the near future could be on the table. His status for Thursday's game against the Bucks remains in the air.
