  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Bucks' Myles Turner: Goes through practice

Turner (calf) practiced in full Thursday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

After sitting out Tuesday's preseason finale versus the Thunder due to a sore right calf, Turner will have the green light for Opening Night on Oct. 22. He showed excellent chemistry alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo during the preseason and is set up nicely for another successful fantasy campaign.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Looks great in win

Duren produced 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two steals and three blocks in 19 minutes of Thursday's 119-98 preseason win over the Wizards.

Duren did all his damage in 19 minutes as he looked to be in mid-season form Thursday. He could be poised to make another leap after finishing as a seventh-round fantasy value in nine-category leagues during the 2045-25 regular season in just 26.1 minutes per contest.

  • Pelicans' Hunter Dickinson: Notches 12 points

Dickinson logged 12 points (6-9 FG), five rebounds, three assists and two steals across 23 minutes of Thursday's 132-125 preseason loss to Orlando.

Kevon Looney is expected to miss two to three weeks due to a proximal tibiofibular ligament, potentially opening some minutes up in the frontcourt. Derik Queen is still rehabbing from wrist surgery, so Dickinson has a chance to enter the rotation behind Yves Missi. Dickinson would likely need to outplay Karlo Matkovic for that to happen, however.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Flirts with triple-double

Kessler finished with 14 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks across 26 minutes during Thursday's 132-129 preseason win over the Trail Blazers.

Kessler turned in a strong effort on the offensive end, reaching double figures with ease while grabbing half of his rebounds on the offensive glass. He was nearly as productive defensively, swatting away a team-high two blocks and accounting for two of nine Utah steals. Kessler's solid performance across the board was a reassuring sight for the Jazz after Kessler sat out most of training camp due to a shoulder injury.

  • Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Looks sharp in preseason finale

Porzingis tallied 23 points (8-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and one block over 28 minutes during Thursday's 133-115 preseason loss to the Rockets.

Porzingis received one more opportunity to prove that he's ready for the regular season, with the coaching staff giving four of the five starters 28 minutes on the court. The big man didn't disappoint in his final tune-up, securing a double-double by shooting with efficiency and being a constant presence on the glass. Porzingis and the Hawks will now get a short breather before taking the court for the 2025-26 regular-season opener Wednesday against Toronto.

  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Starting Thursday

Filipowski is in the starting lineup for Thursday's exhibition against Portland.

Filipowski will be joined in the first unit by Svi Mykhailiuk, Keyonte George, Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler. While Filipowski will draw a start in Thursday's exhibition, he's expected to come off the bench in Utah this season.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Jazz's Jusuf Nurkic: Slated for reserve role Thursday

Nurkic isn't in the starting lineup for Thursday's preseason game against Portland.

Nurkic is fresh off an impressive double-double Monday against Dallas but will move to the bench to make room for Walker Kessler, who'll be making his preseason debut after missing time due to a shoulder injury. Despite a strong preseason, Nurkic is slated to be the backup center behind Kessler during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • N'Faly Dante C | ATL

Hawks' N'Faly Dante: Sliding back to bench

Dante will be utilized off the bench during Thursday's preseason game against the Rockets, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Dante drew the start at center in Monday's exhibition while Kristaps Porzingis received the night off. The 23-year-old will move back to the bench with Porzingis returning to the first unit Thursday evening.

  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Starting sans Johnson

Okongwu will start in Thursday's preseason game against the Rockets, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With Jalen Johnson (rest) sitting out Atlanta's preseason finale, Okongwu will get the starting nod alongside Kristaps Porzingis. Okongwu is expected to serve as Porzingis' top backup in the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Will miss preseason finale

Sabonis has been diagnosed with a mild right hamstring strain and will sit out of Friday's preseason finale against the Lakers, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.

Sabonis suffered the injury during Wednesday's matchup against the Clippers, and his status for the start of the 2025-26 regular season is now in question. He was unable to practice Thursday and will have just over a week to rest up ahead of the regular-season opener. The Kings could have additional updates on Sabonis' status at some point over the next few days.
