  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Iffy for Wednesday

Sengun is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Clippers due to lower back soreness.

Sengun is in danger of missing his first game since March 3 due to lower back soreness. If Sengun is ultimately downgraded to out, Steven Adams and Jock Landale are candidates to receive increased playing time.

  • Duop Reath C | ATL

Trail Blazers' Duop Reath: Iffy for Wednesday

Reath (knee) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Jazz.

Reath is in danger of missing his third straight contest Wednesday due to right knee soreness. If Reath is downgraded to out yet again, Jabari Walker should continue to receive increased playing time.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Won't play Wednesday

Kessler (nose/concussion) is out for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

A nasal fracture and concussion will keep Kessler from playing Wednesday. With two games left on the 2024-25 calendar for the rebuilding Jazz, it wouldn't be shocking if Kessler has made his final appearance this season. Kyle Filipowski has averaged 13.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks in 28.7 minutes over his last nine outings as starter, and he should continue to fill in for Kessler at center against Portland.

  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Still out with calf strain

Ayton is out for Wednesday's game against the Jazz due to a left calf strain.

Wednesday will mark a 26th absence in a row for Ayton. Although Portland has not yet officially ruled out the star big man for the reminder of the year, it would be somewhat surprising to see him appear in either of the club's final two contests given the lack of updates on his status since he went down. Donovan Clingan has averaged 8.0 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.1 steals in 28.4 minutes over his last seven games in Ayton's stead.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

Celtics' Luke Kornet: Returning to bench

Kornet isn't in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Knicks, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Kristaps Porzingis will reclaim his starting spot from Kornet after missing Boston's previous contest due to an illness. Kornet has averaged 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 18.9 minutes across his last 10 appearances coming off the bench.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Cleared to play Tuesday

Porzingis (illness) is available for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Porzingis will return from a one-game absence due to an illness Tuesday. The star big man has averaged 18.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.2 three-pointers and 1.4 blocks across 28.4 minutes per game in his last five outings. He has shot 47.7 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from beyond the arc in that five-game span.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Cleared from injury report

Gafford (knee) is not listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Gafford didn't play in Saturday's game against the Clippers as the Mavericks monitor his workload, but he's all set to be available for Wednesday. Across his last three appearances since returning from an extended absence, Gafford has averaged 10.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.3 blocks in 19.2 minutes while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. Dereck Lively could head back to the second unit against Los Angeles.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Remains out for Wednesday

Drummond (toe) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Drummond will miss a 15th straight game for the 76ers due to a toe injury. The veteran big man's next opportunity to get back on the floor will be Friday against the Hawks.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Likely to play vs. LAL

Davis (adductor) has been listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Davis is trending toward playing against his former team Wednesday despite still managing his groin injury. The veteran big man is averaging 19.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 blocks per game, shooting 43.7 percent from the field since returning from an 18-game absence.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Won't play vs. Cleveland

Vucevic (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.

Vucevic is dealing with soreness in his right calf, which will keep him sidelined in Cleveland on Tuesday for the first half of a back-to-back set. The Bulls will likely turn to Zach Collins to help shoulder the load in the frontcourt. Vucevic's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against Miami.
