Rockets' Steven Adams: Grabs eight boards Friday

Adams finished with four points (2-2 FG, 0-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal over 20 minutes during Friday's 102-98 victory over the Heat.

Adams continues to do his job to perfection, providing the Rockets with a veteran presence in the middle. Despite playing as the backup behind Alperen Sengun, his impact on the game is obvious. He is one of the better per-minute rebounders in the league, averaging 5.4 boards in just 13.2 minutes per game this season.

  • Zach Edey C | MEM

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Moving back to bench role

Edey is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

The Grizzlies have decided to tweak things in their frontcourt for this game, and Edey will move to a bench role since the starting frontcourt will feature Santi Aldama and Jaren Jackson. Edey is averaging 9.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game across 10 appearances in March.

  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Back to bench Friday

Filipowski is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Celtics.

Filipowski has fared well in a starting role of late, but he's also been productive off the bench, so his fantasy upside shouldn't change too much with his move to the second unit. Filipowski is averaging 15.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.8 steals across 24.4 minutes per game in 11 outings (five starts) this month.

  • Suns' Nick Richards: Ruled out Friday

Richards (calf) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Amanda Pflugrad of 3TV Phoenix reports.

Richards is coming off an impressive performance in Wednesday's win against the Bulls, finishing with 18 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks. However, he'll be watching from the sideline Friday, meaning Phoenix will have to pivot with Oso Ighodaro and Bol Bol likely seeing more time on the floor against Cleveland.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Ruled out vs. Denver

Clingan (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Nuggets, Aaron J. Fentress of The Oregonian reports.

Clingan has started the last 16 games for the Trail Blazers, so they'll have to pivot Friday to replace him in the starting lineup. Portland will likely turn to Duop Reath to help shoulder the load, as the team is dealing with several injuries in the frontcourt. Matisse Thybulle and Kris Murray could see more time on the floor against the Nuggets.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Hornets' Jusuf Nurkic: Will start vs. Oklahoma City

Nurkic will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Thunder.

Nurkic will be a starter for the Hornets for the fifth time this season Friday in Oklahoma City. The veteran big man is averaging 10.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game as a starter for Charlotte.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Late addition to injury report

Clingan is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Nuggets due to an illness.

Clingan is in danger of missing his first contest since Feb. 4 due to an illness. Due to Deandre Ayton (calf) already being ruled out, If Clingan is unable to suit up, Duop Reath could receive increased playing time.

  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Removed from injury report

Robinson (ankle) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Wizards.

After missing Thursday's loss to the Hornets, Robinson will return to the floor for the Knicks on Saturday. The veteran big man is coming off a strong performance off the bench in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs, finishing with 13 points, 11 rebounds, one steal and two blocks.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Hawks' Clint Capela: Out at least three weeks

Capela underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed a ligament injury in the fourth metacarpal of his left hand, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He'll be out for 3-to-4 weeks before being re-evaluated.

Capela had missed the Hawks' last four games due to a family matter, but he apparently injured his hand at some point before his recent leave of absence. Given the timeline laid out by the Hawks, Capela won't be back before the end of the regular season, and the team may need to advance past the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament for the veteran center to have a chance at playing again during the 2024-25 campaign. Dominick Barlow has stepped in for Capela over the past four games as the Hawks' backup center and has averaged 7.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 assists in 17.5 minutes per contest. Barlow should continue to hold down a spot in the rotation for the foreseeable future, at least until Larry Nance (knee) is cleared to play again.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Bulls' Zach Collins: Efficient in limited run Thursday

Collins totaled six points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and three rebounds over eight minutes during Thursday's 128-116 victory over the Kings.

Collins received fewer than 10 minutes of playing time for the first time since logging a DNP via a coach's decision Feb. 12. The big man will likely continue to see fewer minutes as long as Nikola Vucevic and Patrick Williams aren't restricted.
