  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Won't play Monday vs. Utah

Horford (toe) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.

Horford has started in five of the Celtics' last six games and has averaged 11.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 steals over 34.2 minutes per game. He'll be sidelined for Monday's game due to a sprained left big toe, and with Kristaps Porzingis (illness) also out, the Celtics will lean on Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta as their big men against Walker Kessler, John Collins and Kyle Filipowski. Horford could be available for Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Won't return Monday

Porzingis (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.

Monday will be the sixth straight game that Porzingis will miss due to an illness. There's no clear timeline for his return, but his next chance to see the floor will be Wednesday against the Thunder. With Porzingis and Al Horford (toe) both out Monday, Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta should see most of the big-man minutes for the Celtics.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Cleared to return Monday

Collins (back) is available for Monday's game against the Celtics.

Collins has missed eight of the Jazz's last nine games due to low back injury management, but the veteran forward has been cleared to play Monday. He has played in just 12 games since the beginning of January, and over those outings he has averaged 20.7 points on 54.8 percent shooting, 8.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.5 blocks over 31.5 minutes per game.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Out again Monday

Williams (knee) will not play Monday against the Warriors.

Williams will be sidelined for a 10th straight game and remains without a return timetable. With Deandre Ayton (calf) also out, Donovan Clingan and Duop Reath have been handling the center minutes in Portland.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Not on injury report

Holmgren is not on the injury report for Monday's game against the Nuggets.

For the first time since Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 of 2024, Holmgren appears set to feature in both games of a back-to-back set. Holmgren played 26 minutes against Denver on Monday, posting 14 points, eight rebounds, one assist and four blocks.

  • Kai Jones C | DAL

Mavericks' Kai Jones: Out against San Antonio

Jones (quadriceps) will not play Monday against the Spurs.

Jones will be sidelined for a fourth straight game, and it's unclear when he'll be able to return to the lineup. Dwight Powell and Kessler Edwards could see more minutes in the short term as a result.

  • Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Not listed on injury report

Powell (head) isn't listed on Dallas' injury report for Monday's game against the Spurs.

Powell collided with Kessler Edwards during Sunday's game against the Suns and never returned, but both players will be available for the second night of Dallas' back-to-back set. Over his last seven games (two starts), Powell has averaged 2.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 13.1 minutes per game.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Iffy for Monday

Jokic (elbow/ankle) is questionable for Monday's game against the Thunder.

Jokic continues to battle a lingering ankle injury, and he was clearly managing an elbow issue during Sunday's loss to the Thunder. However, coach Michael Malone said the MVP candidate was fine after the game. If Jokic is sidelined for Monday's rematch, Zeke Nnaji (ankle), DeAndre Jordan and Peyton Watson are candidates for increased roles.

  • Spurs' Charles Bassey: Won't play Monday

Bassey (knee) will not play Monday against Dallas.

Bassey will miss an eighth consecutive contest while he deals with an acute-on-chronic bone bruise in his left knee. He currently doesn't have a timetable to return to action for San Antonio.

  • Zach Edey C | MEM

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Questionable for Monday

Edey (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game against the Suns.

Monday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Edey is battling some soreness in his right ankle. Brandon Clarke (knee) is also questionable, while Jaren Jackson (ankle) and Santi Aldama (calf) remain sidelined. GG Jackson may be asked to soak up a ton of minutes Monday.
