  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

    Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Resting Wednesday

Holmgren (rest) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Heat, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports.

Holmgren has played in two of the Thunder's last three games after returning from a right iliac wing fracture. He'll continue to rest on occasion and operate on a minutes restriction when he is on the floor, and his next chance to suit up will be Thursday against the Timberwolves. Aaron Wiggins, Luguentz Dort and Isaiah Joe are all candidates to enter the Thunder's starting lineup Wednesday due to Holmgren's absence.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Will play Tuesday

Embiid (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the Raptors, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.

Embiid will suit up in his third consecutive contest while the club manages his playing time due to a left knee injury. The superstar big man is suiting up in the first leg of the club's back-to-back set, meaning he'll likely sit out of Wednesday's game against the Nets. Over his last three outings, Embiid has averaged 26.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.0 blocks across 32.0 minutes per contest.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Sidelined through All-Star break

Head coach Rick Carlisle said Tuesday that Turner (neck) will be held out through the All-Star break, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports.

Turner is working through a cervical strain in his neck that forced him to miss Saturday's loss against the Lakers. The injury is severe enough that Turner will be sidelined for the Pacers' next two games in the hope that he'll be able to progress enough in his recovery to return for Indiana's first game after the All-Star break against Memphis on Thursday, Feb. 20. Thomas Bryant is expected to start at center for Indiana's next two games while the recently signed Jahlil Okafor serves in a backup role due to Turner's absence.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Iffy against Denver

Williams (knee) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Williams has missed six of the last eight games for the Trail Blazers while dealing with right knee soreness. The veteran big man has been in and out of the lineup all season and might miss a second straight game Wednesday in Denver. Donovan Clingan will likely play heavy minutes in the frontcourt, especially with Deandre Ayton (calf) already ruled out for this game against the Nuggets.

  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Won't play Wednesday

Ayton (calf) is out for Wednesday's game versus the Nuggets.

Ayton suffered a left calf strain against Denver on Monday and will be forced to sit out Wednesday's rematch. Donovan Clingan will likely receive increased playing time in his absence. Ayton's next chance to suit up will come after the All-Star break against the Lakers on Feb. 20.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Questionable for Wednesday

Sarr (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

After missing the last eight games for the Wizards with a left ankle sprain, Sarr might return to the floor Wednesday against Indiana. The rookie big man is averaging 11.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 blocks per game, shooting 39.7 percent and 30.7 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Now ruled out Wednesday

Williams (not with team) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Magic.

Though Williams wasn't included on the initial injury report Charlotte released for Wednesday's game, the center still hasn't rejoined the Hornets while the team attempts to challenge the findings from the 23-year-old big man's physical that caused a trade that would have sent him to the Lakers to be rescinded. Until the matter is resolved, Moussa Diabate (eye) should continue to start, with Taj Gibson and Jusuf Nurkic handling the backup center minutes.

  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Left off injury report

Williams isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Magic.

Williams was set to be traded from Charlotte to the Lakers before Los Angeles identified multiple concerns with the 23-year-old big man's physical, causing the deal to be rescinded. However, the Hornets are attempting to dispute these findings. As evidenced by Wednesday's injury report, they believe Williams to be fully healthy. Regardless, it remains unclear if Williams will receive any playing time while the matter is still being resolved.

  • Alex Len C | NY

Lakers' Alex Len: Set to sign with Lakers

Shams Charania of ESPN reported Tuesday that Len will sign with the Lakers.

Len signed a one-year, $3.31 million deal with the Kings in July of 2024, but he played only 7.2 minutes per game while serving in a rotational role at center. He was traded by Sacramento last Thursday to Washington and was subsequently waived. Earlier reports indicated that he would ink a deal with the Pacers for the rest of the season, but Len will instead head to Los Angeles to play alongside LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. With the Lakers' trade for Mark Williams being rescinded Saturday, Len should see some meaningful minutes off the bench as the backup center behind Jaxson Hayes.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Hawks' Clint Capela: Off injury report for Wednesday

Capela (personal) is off the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.

Capela has missed eight straight games due to a back injury and personal reasons, but he's set to be available for the Hawks on Wednesday. The veteran big man's return is bad news for the fantasy appeal of Onyeka Okongwu, who appears likely to shift back to Atlanta's second unit. Capela has averaged 9.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 21.0 minutes over his last nine games.
