Celtics' Al Horford: Will play, won't start Monday

Horford will come off the bench in Monday's game against Houston, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

A previous report stated that the veteran big man would enter the starting lineup Monday, though Luke Kornet will end up receiving the starting nod alongside Kristaps Porzingis in the frontcourt. Horford has played in three of the club's last five outings, during which he has averaged 3.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in 21.0 minutes per game off the bench.

  • Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Cleared vs. Grizzlies

Hukporti (illness) is available for Monday's game against Memphis.

Hukporti was added to the injury report as questionable due to illness, but it won't keep him from Monday's action. He's not currently part of the regular rotation, making only three appearances in New York's last 16 matchups.

  • Goga Bitadze C | ORL

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Coming off bench Monday

Bitadze (concussion) will be deployed off the bench in Monday's game against the Heat, Philip Rossman-Reich of OrlandoMagicDaily.com reports.

Bitadze is in line for his first game action since Jan. 12 after clearing the league's concussion protocol, and he'll be utilized as reserve in an effort to ease him back into play. The Magic could limit the big man's minutes to ensure he makes it out of Monday's matchup without any setbacks.

    Celtics' Al Horford: Starting Monday

Horford (toe) is available and starting in Monday's game against the Rockets, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.

Horford will suit up after having been deemed questionable due to a left great toe sprain. The veteran big man has played in three of the club's last five outings, during which he has averaged 3.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in 21.0 minutes per game off the bench.

  • Taj Gibson PF | MEM

Hornets' Taj Gibson: Back to bench Monday

Gibson is coming off the bench in Monday's game against the Lakers.

After playing 12 minutes in Saturday's spot start against the Pelicans, Gibson will revert back to his usual role off Charlotte's bench in Mark Williams' return Monday. Gibson is not a lock to see the floor against the Lakers, so he can be left on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Cleared to play Monday vs. Hornets

Davis (foot) is available for Monday's game against Charlotte, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

Davis has been a regular on the Lakers' injury report due to left foot plantar fasciitis, and he'll play through the issue Monday. Over his last 10 outings, Davis has averaged 25.4 points on 51.6 percent shooting, 12.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.6 steals over 35.2 minutes per game.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Playing Monday against New Orleans

Poeltl (back) is available for Monday's game against the Pelicans, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

Poeltl was considered questionable for Monday's game due to back stiffness, but the veteran big man will play through the issue. The 2016 first-round pick has averaged 12.0 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks over 29.5 minutes across his last 10 outings.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Won't play Tuesday

Drummond (toe) will not play Tuesday against the Lakers.

Drummond was unable to practice Monday and will be sidelined for a third straight contest. With Joel Embiid (knee) also out, Guerschon Yabusele is likely to see a significant workload in the frontcourt.

  • Goga Bitadze C | ORL

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Clears protocol, available Monday

Bitadze (concussion) is available for Monday's matchup against Miami, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Bitadze missed Orlando's last seven games, but he took part in the team's morning shootaround and officially cleared the concussion protocol ahead of Monday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. Bitadze has started in 33 of his 36 appearances this season, but most of those starts came while power forward Paolo Banchero was sidelined with an oblique tear. Now that Banchero is healthy again, the Magic may prefer to have Bitadze come off the bench as the primary backup to Wendell Carter.
