  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Hawks' Clint Capela: Won't play Thursday

Capela is out for Thursday's game versus the Raptors due to right knee soreness, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Capela will miss his first game of the season Thursday due to right knee soreness. Dominick Barlow will likely receive increased playing time as the backup center to Onyeka Okongwu in his absence. Capela's next chance to suit up is Saturday's rematch with Toronto.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Absent from practice

Drummond (toe) didn't participate in Thursday's practice, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Drummond returned to action Tuesday after missing time due to a left toe injury. Fantasy managers should look out for an official injury report to clarify Drummond's status for Friday's matchup with Cleveland.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Big night on both ends in loss

Allen put up 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-3 FT), 13 boards, three assists, three blocks and two steals in 32 minutes of action during Wednesday's 109-108 loss to the Rockets.

The big man has taken on a more significant role on both ends as Evan Mobley (calf) remains sidelined, with Wednesday's outing marking his second straight double-double. He matched his second-highest block and steal totals of the season, making for a well-rounded fantasy performance. He'll next take the court Friday against the 76ers.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Continues to fill stat sheet

Sabonis recorded 26 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 18 rebounds and three assists over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 123-117 win over the Warriors.

By now, it's odd when Sabonis doesn't record a double-double, and that outcome has happened in only two of his 40 appearances -- and not even once since Dec. 3. An ever-present name in the Kings lineup across the month of January, Sabonis is averaging a robust stat line of 21.3 points, 16.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 0.7 blocks per game while shooting 64.3 percent from the floor in his last 10 games.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Nabs double-double in loss

Kessler supplied 17 points (8-10 FG, 1-4 FT), 15 rebounds, two blocks and one assist across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 123-114 loss to Oklahoma City.

Kessler posted his 18th double-double of the season in an extremely efficient performance from the field, albeit in a losing effort. The big man also recorded multiple blocks for the 25th time through 34 regular-season appearances, and he is on pace to tie his career high of 2.4 swats per game. Over his last five outings, Kessler has averaged 14.4 points, 12.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks while shooting 78.0 percent from the field in 30.6 minutes per contest.

  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Sets new career-high scoring mark

Williams recorded 38 points (14-18 FG, 10-13 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 132-120 loss to the Grizzlies.

Williams pulverized his previous career-high mark of 31 points, established in a Jan. 15 win over the Jazz, and the big man is going through the most productive stretch of his career. He's averaging 25.0 points and 14.0 rebounds per game over his last five outings, a span in which he's recorded four double-doubles, and he continues to show why he can be among the better big men in the NBA as long as he remains healthy. That has been an issue, though, as Williams has been limited to only 18 games (15 starts) in 2024-25 and 80 total appearances during his three-year career in The Association.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Leads Jazz in return

Collins amassed 22 points (9-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one block in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 123-114 loss to the Thunder.

Collins led the Jazz in scoring during his return from an eight-game absence due to a hip injury. The 27-year-old delivered an extremely efficient performance while securing his ninth double-double over 28 regular-season appearances, and he'll likely continue to receive a slight uptick in playing time as he works his way back to full playing form. The eighth-year forward has put together a solid season as a mainstay in the starting five after coming off the bench in his first nine games, though he's missed 14 of Utah's 42 outings thus far.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Hawks' Clint Capela: Records double-double off bench

Capela totaled 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-5 FT), 10 rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 21 minutes during Wednesday's 114-104 loss to the Pistons.

Capela has been playing off the bench after Onyeka Okongwu was promoted to a starting role, but the veteran big man has found a way to remain productive. In his two outings with the second unit, Capela has racked up 28 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks in 41 total minutes.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

    Pistons' Jalen Duren: Efficient double-double

Duren finished with 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 114-104 victory over the Hawks.

Duren recorded his fourth consecutive double-double, and aside from being an effective two-way presence for the Pistons, the big man has been an efficient weapon on offense. Over that four-game stretch, Duren is shooting an impressive 84.4 percent from the floor while averaging 15.5 points and 13.3 rebounds per contest.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Second straight double-double

Gafford posted 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 boards, three blocks, two assists and one steal across 33 minutes of action in Wednesday's 115-114 loss to the Timberwolves.

Gafford continued to capitalize on Dereck Lively's (foot) absence Wednesday, logging his third double-double in the four games that the latter's been sidelined. In that stretch, he's averaged 20.0 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.5 blocks while shooting 76.2 percent from the field. With Lively expected to miss multiple months, Gafford has become an extremely attractive fantasy option. He'll look to keep rolling Thursday against the Thunder.
