  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Starting sans Claxton

Sharpe will start Wednesday's game against the Pacers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.

With Nic Claxton (hip) out, Sharpe will get the starting nod in Brooklyn's final game before the All-Star break. As a starter this season (three games), the big man has averaged 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.3 combined steals-plus-blocks across 30.7 minutes per game.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Headed to bench

Drummond will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Adem Bona will replace Drummond in the first unit for Wednesday's game, and it'll be interesting to see how many minutes Drummond earns as a reserve with Joel Embiid (knee) watching from the sidelines. In 20 games off the bench this season, Drummond has posted averages of 5.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

  • Paul Reed C | DET

    Pistons' Paul Reed: Starting Wednesday

Reed is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Toronto, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart are suspended for this one, leaving starting center duties for Reed. In six starts this season, Reed is averaging 11.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.2 blocks across 26.7 minutes.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Bucks' Jericho Sims: Starting sans Rollins

Sims will start Wednesday's game against the Magic.

The 27-year-old big man will return to the first unit due to Ryan Rollins (foot) being sidelined. As a starter this season (five games), Sims has averaged 2.8 points and 7.0 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per game.

  • Hornets' Ryan Kalkbrenner: Starting Wednesday

Kalkbrenner is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Hawks.

Kalkbrenner is getting the start due to Moussa Diabate (suspension) being unavailable, and the former will be joined in the first unit by LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, Kon Knueppel and Grant Williams. Over 26 starts this season, Kalkbrenner has registered averages of 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Won't play Wednesday

Sarr (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Cleveland.

Sarr will miss the Wizards' final game before the All-Star break due to right hamstring tightness. With Tristan Vukcevic (illness) also sidelined, Washington will have to get creative with its center minutes. Anthony Gill figures to be one of the top options at the five spot. The Wizards will come out of the All-Star break with a back-to-back set against Indiana that begins Feb. 19.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

    Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Available Wednesday

Poeltl (back/reconditioning) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pistons and will be on an unspecified minutes restriction, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports.

Poeltl hasn't played since Dec. 21 due to a lower-back strain but will return to action in Toronto's final game before the All-Star break. It's unclear how many minutes he will be limited to, but his return will leave fewer minutes available for the likes of Sandro Mamukelashvili and Trayce Jackson-Davis. Per Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca, Poeltl is part of the starting lineup Wednesday. Over 21 regular-season appearances thus far, Poeltl has averaged 9.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 25.3 minutes per contest.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Won't play Wednesday

Embiid (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.

Embiid will miss a second straight game heading into the All-Star break due to right knee injury management. In his stead, look for Andre Drummond and Adem Bona to handle most of the center minutes. Embiid's next chance to play will come Feb. 19 against Atlanta.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Won't suit up Wednesday

Claxton (hip) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.

Claxton is dealing with right hip soreness and will miss just his third game of the season. The big man will have the All-Star break to recover, as his next opportunity to play will come Feb. 19 against the Cavaliers. With Claxton unavailable, Day'Ron Sharpe will likely get the starting nod, while Danny Wolf could see increased playing time.

  • Clippers' Isaiah Jackson: Gets garbage-time run in debut

Jackson played the final 5:28 of Tuesday's 102-95 loss to the Rockets, finishing with five points (2-2 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and one rebound.

Cleared to play for the first time since being acquired from the Pacers last Thursday, Jackson wasn't part of the rotation while the game was competitive, as he didn't check into the game until Houston built a 13-point lead just over halfway into the final quarter. The Clippers appear set to prioritize Brook Lopez and Yanic Konan Niederhauser ahead of Jackson at center for the time being.
