  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Questionable for Sunday

Embiid (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Magic.

Embiid has missed the past three games for the 76ers, but coach Nick Nurse said Friday that the big man remains day-to-day. He did seem hopeful to have him back for Sunday's game, however. Andre Drummond (toe) has already been ruled out, so Guerschon Yabusele could see extended run if Embiid is unable to return.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Another absence coming

Drummond (toe) is out for Sunday's game versus the Magic.

Drummond's absence streak will extend to four games Sunday due to a sprained left toe. The veteran big man's next chance to suit up is Tuesday's matchup with the Thunder.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Beginning to ramp up

Holmgren (hip) joined the Thunder for their four-game road trip that began Wednesday and is beginning to increase his physical activity, Joel Lorenzi of The Oklahoman reports.

Prior to Wednesday's 129-122 loss to the Cavaliers, Holmgren was seen going through some movement drills on the court during the Thunder's shootaround that day. The activity came just over a week after Holmgren was cleared to ditch the crutches he had been using to get around since suffering a right iliac wing fracture Nov. 10. Now two months removed from the injury, Holmgren is within the 8-to-10-week period the Thunder had previously cited as the point that the team would provide an update on his return-to-play protocol. Oklahoma City is thus expected to update Holmgren's status soon, though since he's not yet practicing, he's probably at least a couple weeks away from being ready for game action.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Iffy against Miami

Williams is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Heat due to an illness.

Despite being absent from the injury report all day, Williams is now in danger of missing Saturday's contest due to an illness. Even if Williams is upgraded to available, there is no guarantee he will receive any playing time.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alexandre Sarr: Double-double despite shooting woes

Sarr posted 11 points (4-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Friday's 138-105 loss to the Bulls.

Sarr ended with a double-double, but his shooting line shows the rookie remains a work in progress on the offensive end of the court. This was Sarr's third double-double across his last five contests. Even though he's averaging 12.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game in that span, he's also shooting a poor 39 percent from the field, which is even worse considering his position on the court as a center.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Posts double-double

Vucevic provided 23 points (9-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and one block across 27 minutes during Friday's 138-105 win over the Wizards.

Vucevic bounced back from the 10-point, seven-rebound effort he delivered against the Pacers on Wednesday, and the big man extended his productive stretch to nine double-doubles over his last 11 appearances. Vucevic is having a bounce-back season on the offensive side of the ball, and his 20.1 points per game represent his best output since the 2020-21 campaign, when he was traded from Orlando to Chicago. He's also averaging a double-double for a seventh straight campaign.

  • Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Just misses double-double Friday

Jackson-Davis closed with nine points (3-6 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 27 minutes during Friday's 108-96 loss to Indiana.

The 2023 second-round pick continues to make a solid contribution as Golden State's starting center. Jackson-Davis has started 12 straight games, recording three double-doubles over that stretch and falling one point or one board short on five other occasions. The 24-year-old is averaging 11.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.2 blocks and 0.9 steals during that span while shooting 56.9 percent from the floor.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Saturday's game postponed

Sengun and the Rockets won't play in Saturday's game versus the Hawks, as the game has been postponed due to severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area.

The NBA has yet to announce when Saturday's contest will be rescheduled. However, the Rockets' next outing is against Memphis on Monday, so the team should be back in action shortly.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Logs 32/12/15 triple-double

Jokic finished Friday's 124-105 win over the Nets with 35 points (14-21 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 12 rebounds, 15 assists and four steals over 38 minutes.

The combination of Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook overpowered the Nets, with both players notching a triple-double in the victory. Jokic ranks third in the NBA with 145 career triple-doubles, trailing only Westbrook and Oscar Robertson in the category in NBA history. The Nets played only eight players and were hampered with injuries, so while the win wasn't much of a surprise, the Nuggets are glad to have Jokic back at full strength after his recent illness.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Good to go against Miami

Williams (rest) is absent from Friday's injury report and will be available for Saturday's game against the Heat.

Williams was sidelined for rest purposes Thursday against the Mavericks, but the veteran center will take the floor Saturday. He could be in line for extended playing time if Deandre Ayton (calf) is unable to play.
