  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Questionable for Thursday

Sabonis is questionable for Thursday's game against the Pistons due to an illness, Frankie Cartoscelli of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports.

Sabonis has picked up an illness going into the Kings' upcoming game, a scenario that could result in them playing their first game without him since Nov. 18. Trey Lyles has started both of Sabonis' games that he has sat out this season, so it would not be surprising if the former does so should the latter be unavailable. That would not be ideal for a Kings team that has received 21.5 points, 15.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists averaged by Sabonis across his last eight games.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Questionable for Thursday

Collins (hip) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Collins' left hip contusion will make him questionable for another game. The last time this happened, his status was gradually downgraded before he was ruled out for the Jazz's game Monday at Cleveland. The Jazz lost without him, snapping a two-game winning streak that saw him log 29 points and 20 rebounds.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Suffers ankle injury Christmas Day

Porzingis was spotted without a visible brace on his left ankle in the postgame locker room after he missed the entire second half of Wednesday's 118-114 loss to the 76ers with an injury, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

Porzingis logged nine points (3-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds in 13 minutes over the first two quarters of the contest, but he apparently tweaked his surgically repaired ankle at some point late in the first half. Despite not returning to the game, the fact that Porzingis wasn't seen with any protection on his ankle offers hope that he avoided anything too serious. The Celtics will have Thursday off before returning to action Friday against the Pacers.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Iffy for Thursday

Williams (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Jazz.

Contrary to the Trail Blazers' injury report before their previous game at Dallas, they have listed Williams with a sprain to his right ankle instead of his left. Either way, he is questionable for a second straight game, the first resulting in his absence against Dallas.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Expected to play Thursday

Duren is probable for Thursday's game against the Kings due to a left ankle sprain.

Duren has appeared in four straight games since missing a Dec. 12 loss in Boston due to a wrist injury. The big man is expected to play through the minor ankle sprain, but he's scored in double figures only once over his last four appearances, averaging 10.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 29.8 minutes per game during that stretch.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Will suit up Wednesday

Davis (shoulder) is available for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports.

Davis and LeBron James (foot) have both been upgraded from questionable to available and will suit up for the Lakers' Christmas Day game. Davis hasn't missed a game since Nov. 6, and over his last 21 appearances, he's averaged 24.6 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.2 steals in 35.1 minutes per game.

  • Cody Zeller C | HOU

    Hawks' Cody Zeller: Remains out

Zeller (personal) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Zeller remains away from the team due to personal reasons. He doesn't have a return timetable.

  • Thunder's Branden Carlson: Ruled out for Thursday

Carlson (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Pacers.

Carlson will miss a second straight game due to a concussion. However, he wasn't part of the rotation before suffering the injury, so his absence shouldn't have any fantasy impact.

  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Won't suit up Thursday

Bagley has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Hornets with a right knee sprain.

Bagley left Monday's loss to the Thunder due to a knee injury that looked to be fairly seriously. The Wizards are labeling his injury as a sprain, but the team hasn't provided word on its severity. Bagley should be viewed as day-to-day until the Wizards provide a clearer update on his condition, but he'll most likely be headed for a multi-game absence.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Unlikely to return Wednesday

Porzingis is doubtful to return to Wednesday's game against the 76ers due to left ankle soreness.

Porzingis posted nine points (3-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds in 13 minutes during the first half but likely won't play in the second half. Luke Kornet started the second half in Porzingis' place.
