  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Returning to bench Monday

Drummond is not in the 76ers' starting lineup for Monday's game against the Spurs, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.

Drummond will retreat to the bench Monday due to Joel Embiid returning from a knee injury. Over his last five games, Drummond has averaged 4.0 points and 8.0 rebounds over 16.4 minutes per contest.

  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Bumped to bench

Carter won't start Monday's game against the Celtics.

Carter will come off the bench for the first time this season, yielding to Trevelin Queen in the starting five. With Moritz Wagner (knee) out for the season, the Magic could opt to stagger Carter and Goga Bitadze's playing time moving forward to preserve center depth. Despite coming off the bench, expect Carter to see a significant workload Monday.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Won't play against Cavs

Collins (hip) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Cleveland, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

Collins will miss his second game of the 2024-25 regular season Monday due to a left hip contusion, and his next opportunity to play will be against the Trail Blazers on Thursday. Kyle Filipowski and Brice Sensabaugh should see increased playing time due to Collins' absence.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alexandre Sarr: Questionable for Monday

Sarr is questionable for Monday's game against the Thunder due to lower back soreness.

Sarr has played in four straight games for the Wizards, but it appears his back has flared up on him again -- he missed the opening two games of December with this injury. If he's unable to play Monday, Jonas Valanciunas will likely step into a much larger role for the Wizards.

  • Thunder's Branden Carlson: Won't play Monday

Carlson (concussion) won't play Monday against the Wizards.

Carlson has only five NBA appearances under his belt with an average of 3.6 minutes per contest. His absence shouldn't impact the Thunder's rotation.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Questionable for Monday

Williams is questionable for Monday's game against the Mavericks with a left ankle sprain.

This is a new issue for Williams, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Trail Blazers take a cautious approach here. The center has played an average of just 11.0 minutes in his previous two appearances.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Out again Monday

Poeltl (groin) will not play Monday against the Knicks.

Poeltl will miss his third straight game, but considering he returned to practice over the weekend, he's expected to be day-to-day going forward. His next chance to play will be Thursday against Memphis.

  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Questionable against Memphis

Zubac is questionable versus Memphis on Monday due to right calf soreness.

Zubac was a late addition to the injury report which is an ominous sign for fantasy managers. He's yet to miss a game this season, and this is the first report of a calf issue. If he's unable to go, the Clippers could turn to Mo Bamba and Nicolas Batum to pick up the slack.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Downgraded to doubtful

Collins (hip) has been downgraded to doubtful for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.

Collins was previously listed as questionable, but it appears that the Jazz are preparing to be without him. Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler may have to play a bit more as a result, and Kyle Filipowski could see some rotation minutes after being recalled from the G League.

  • Yves Missi C | NO

Pelicans' Yves Missi: Strong showing Sunday

Missi accumulated 21 points (9-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 132-129 overtime loss to the Nuggets.

Missi missed just three of his 12 shots from the field Sunday and finished just one rebound away from recording what would've been his fourth double-double of December. The rookie out of Baylor has been a pleasant surprise this season and is averaging 12.6 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in 10 outings this month.
