  • Zach Edey C | MEM

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Returns to starting lineup

Edey is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Warriors.

Edey will return to the Grizzlies' starting lineup for the first time since Nov. 6, and he does it after delivering 13 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to the Lakers on Sunday, Dec. 15. The rookie big man is averaging 10.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game in a starting role across nine appearances this season.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Good to go Thursday

Adams (ankle) is listed as available for Thursday's game against the Pelicans.

Adams sprained his left ankle during Saturday's loss to the Thunder, though he'll return to action Thursday without missing a contest. The big man's presence shouldn't affect any fantasy decisions, as he has averaged 3.2 points and 4.6 rebounds across only 10.0 minutes per game in his last five appearances.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Spurs' Zach Collins: Available to play Thursday

Collins (back) is available for Thursday's game against the Hawks, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Collins will add some much-needed depth behind Victor Wembanyama at center, but he's not expected to have a big role in most fantasy formats. Collins is averaging just 4.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game when coming off the bench this season (20 appearances).

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Gets green light

Sengun (knee) will play Thursday against the Pelicans.

Sengun was considered questionable due to left knee soreness, but the issue won't force him to miss out on Thursday's action. He's turned in three straight double-doubles heading into his team's clash with New Orleans.

  • Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Sitting out with illness

Tillman has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against Chicago with a non-COVID-related illness, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Tillman is slated to miss Thursday's game, though his absence shouldn't cause too many waves in the rotation. With Kristaps Porzingis (heel) available, the Celtics will likely turn to Al Horford, Neemias Queta and Luke Kornet to fill out reserve minutes in the frontcourt.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Will suit up Thursday

Porzingis (heel) is available for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

The Celtics will receive a huge boost to their frontcourt for this game against Chicago since both Porzingis and Al Horford will be available. Porzingis has been limited to just seven appearances this season, but he's averaging 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks across 26.3 minutes per game.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Suiting up Thursday

Sabonis (back) is available for Thursday's game versus the Lakers, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.

Sabonis has been upgraded from questionable to available Thursday despite dealing with a back contusion. The star big man is averaging 23.9 points, 13.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 35.1 minutes across his last 10 appearances.

  • Knicks' Ariel Hukporti: Rejoins parent club

The Knicks recalled Hukporti (ankle) from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Thursday.

Hukporti will rejoin New York after a brief stint with Westchester, with whom he presumably resumed practicing. The rookie center had sat out the Knicks' last two games with an ankle sprain, but he looks like he could be available for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Deemed questionable for Friday

Embiid (sinus fracture) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Hornets.

Embiid was initially expected to remain out through the weekend due to a right sinus fracture but could suit up Friday. Considering Philadelphia has back-to-back games Friday and Saturday, the superstar center will likely only be able to suit up for one of them, if at all.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

    76ers' Joel Embiid: Practices Thursday

Embiid (sinus fracture) participated in Thursday's 5-on-5 practice and wore a face mask, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Embiid was set to be re-evaluated in one week from this past Monday due to a sinus fracture. While this likely means that the superstar big man will remain out for Friday's and Saturday's contests, it appears he is nearing a return to action. Until Embiid is able to suit up, Andre Drummond and Guerschon Yabusele should continue to receive increased playing time.
