  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Won't play Saturday

Kessler (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Kings, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Kessler will miss a third straight game due to a hip injury, and it's unclear whether he'll be able to return for the second leg of a back-to-back against the Clippers on Sunday. John Collins will likely continue to start at center for as long as Kessler is sidelined.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Will play Friday

Adams (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Clippers.

Adams was held out of Wednesday's game against the Clippers while recovering from a right knee injury, but he will be on the court for Friday's contest. Across five regular-season outings, Adams has averaged 3.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 13.6 minutes per game.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Knicks' Jericho Sims: Starting sans KAT

Sims will start Friday's game against the Nets, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

With Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) a surprise scratch, Sims will make his first start of the season. Sims played 24 minutes during the season-opening loss to Boston, posting four points, nine rebounds and two blocks, but he's seen 16 or fewer minutes in every game since. He made 11 starts last season, averaging 4.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 22.7 minutes per game during those contests.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Suiting up Friday

Davis (foot) is available for Friday's game against the Spurs, Edwin Garcia of sbnation.com reports.

Davis has been a mainstay on the injury report due to left plantar fasciitis and an eye injury. However, the big man will likely shoulder his normal workload Friday, especially with Rui Hachimura (ankle) ruled out.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Good to go Friday

Allen (lower leg) is available and starting in Friday's game against the Bulls, Sam Amico of HoopsWire.com reports.

Allen will continue to play through a left lower leg strain in Friday's matchup. The big man could see an increased role in the offensive scheme with Evan Mobley (illness) ruled out.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Getting green light

Nurkic (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Thunder, Nick Gallo of the Thunder's official site reports.

Nurkic has been upgraded from questionable to available and will suit up for a second straight contest after a one-game absence due to the ankle issue. He posted three points, 11 rebounds, one assist and three steals in 22 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Kings.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Available Friday

Drummond (illness) is listed as available for Friday's matchup versus the Magic.

Drummond was a game-time decision for Friday's matchup while dealing with an illness, though he will seemingly suit up. The veteran big man could operate under a minutes restriction with Joel Embiid back and Guerschon Yabusele coming off the bench as well.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Will be game-time call Friday

Drummond (illness) will attempt to go through his pregame workout to determine if he can play Friday against the Magic, Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Drummond wasn't at shootaround earlier Friday but will do everything he can to give it a go and play Friday. If the big man is cleared, he should see minutes off the bench in a backup role since Joel Embiid (knee/rest) has been cleared to play.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Should see increased minutes

Coach Nick Nurse said he would like to get Embiid some more minutes in Friday's game versus the Magic, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.

Embiid had previously played just 26 minutes in his season debut after missing time due to a knee injury and suspension. However, with Philadelphia having two days off until they play Miami on Monday, the superstar big man could see his playing time increased to around 30 minutes.

  • Kings' Orlando Robinson: Still in G League

Robinson is listed as out for Friday's game versus the Timberwolves due to being on a G League assignment with the Stockton Kings.

Robinson was previously left off of Sacramento's injury report but has now been added back, indicating he is still with the Kings' G League affiliate. However, it appears that Robinson is no longer plagued by his knee injury, which caused him to miss the beginning of the season.
