Holmes (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Houston.

Holmes will be sidelined Monday due to a non-COVID-19-related illness. He's not a regular part of the Washington rotation, so his absence won't affect how the minutes are distributed in the frontcourt.

Duren (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Heat.

Duren has missed two straight games after tweaking his ankle in the first quarter against Charlotte last week, but he has a chance to return Tuesday. The third-year center was off to a strong start before the ankle injury, averaging 9.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 blocks in 25.4 minutes per game.

Lively (shoulder) practiced Monday and hopes to play Tuesday versus the Warriors, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.

Lively has missed four straight games due to a right shoulder sprain but appears to be nearing a return. His official status for Tuesday's game against the Warriors will be released Monday night.

Embiid (knee/suspension) isn't listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.

As expected, Embiid is set to make his season debut Tuesday. He missed the start of the campaign due to a lingering knee injury and was suspended for the past three games due to a locker-room altercation with a reporter. The 2022-23 MVP will almost certainly have a strict minutes limit during his debut, but he should still be a high-usage player when on the court, especially until Tyrese Maxey (hamstring) is cleared to return.

Horford is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Hawks due to a left big toe sprain, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Tuesday is the first half of a back-to-back set, and Horford is expected to miss at least one of those games. When he's sidelined, Neemias Queta, Luke Kornet and Xavier Tillman are candidates for increased roles.

Robinson (knee) will not play Monday against the Spurs.

Robinson has yet to make his 2024-25 debut due to a left MCL sprain he suffered in early October. Consider him doubtful at best for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

Landale has been ruled out for Monday's game against Washington due to a left shoulder strain.

Landale will miss the second night of a back-to-back set after posting three points and five rebounds in 17 minutes during Sunday's 101-99 win over the Pistons. Steven Adams (knee) is questionable, so if both backup bigs are sidelined, the Rockets will likely have to go small with their second unit against the Wizards.

Adams missed the first leg of Houston's back-to-back set in Sunday's win voer Detroit, and he's apparently not guaranteed to return to action Monday. The Rockets are seemingly planning on being cautious with Adams' usage this season, given that the veteran center is coming off right knee surgery, which sidelined him for the entire 2023-24 campaign.

Boucher produced 18 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Sunday's 123-103 loss to the Lakers.

Boucher has been making the most of his minutes in recent games, and the veteran forward is making a strong case to see even more playing time with how he's been playing. He's scored in double digits in four of his last five outings, averaging 15.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in that stretch.
