  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Good to go

Hayes (knee) is available for Friday's matchup with the 76ers.

No surprise here, as Hayes drew a probable designation prior to the game. Barring any setbacks, the big man should take on his usual role providing depth in Los Angeles' frontcourt.

  • Zach Edey C | MEM

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Coming off bench

Edey will play a reserve role in Friday's matchup with the Wizards.

The Grizzlies will opt to go smaller with Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson in the frontcourt. As a result, Edey will come off the bench for the first time in his rookie season. He is averaging 10.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 0.8 blocks across 19.1 minutes in nine games this year.

  • Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Gets start vs. Wizards

Clarke is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Wizards.

The Grizzlies are switching things up in the frontcourt, and Clarke will get his first start of the season, sending rookie Zach Edey to the bench. Clarke is averaging 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in nine outings off the bench this season.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Available to face Thunder

Adams (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Thunder.

The veteran big man was questionable, but he'll give it a go and should see minutes off the bench. Expect Adams to operate as Alperen Sengun's backup.

  • Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Starting Friday

Valanciunas is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

The Wizards will opt to go big with Valanciunas in the starting lineup. He totaled seven points, nine rebounds and four assists across 22 minutes in his only other start this season.

  • Celtics' Neemias Queta: Coming off bench

Queta will play a reserve role in Friday's game against the Nets, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

With veteran Al Horford getting the starting nod at center, Queta will come off the bench. It will snap a string of two straight starts for the big man. He has averaged 5.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.5 blocks across 12.2 minutes in six games as a reserve.

  • Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Starting vs. Brooklyn

Tillman is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Nets, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

The Celtics are switching things up in the frontcourt and Tillman will get the nod alongside Al Horford. This will be the former's first start of the campaign. He's averaging 2.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this season.

  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Available to play Friday

Bagley (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

Bagley is set to return following a one-game absence due to a non-COVID illness. His return shouldn't affect many fantasy decisions, though, as the big man has averaged a mere 6.8 minutes per game off the bench in his previous five contests.

  • Maxi Kleber C | LAL

Mavericks' Maxi Kleber: Ruled out vs. Suns on Friday

Kleber (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Suns.

Kleber will miss his seventh consecutive game due to a right hamstring strain. The big man was deemed doubtful before being ruled out, and his next chance to suit up will come Sunday versus Denver. With P.J. Washington also ruled out, Naji Marshall and Olivier-Maxence Prosper are both candidates for an uptick in playing time.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

Celtics' Luke Kornet: Won't play Friday

Kornet (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Nets, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Kornet tweaked his hamstring during Wednesday's loss to Golden State and was deemed doubtful before being downgraded to out. The big man's absence could open up an increased role for Jordan Walsh with Neemias Queta starting in the frontcourt while Jaylen Brown (hip) is out. Kornet has averaged 4.9 points and 4.2 rebounds across 18.1 minutes through nine regular-season appearances. His next chance to suit up will come Sunday against Milwaukee.
