Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Scores 10 in Rising Stars loss
Tyson supplied 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 11 minutes in Team T-Mac's 41-36 Rising Stars loss to Team Vince on Friday.
The second-year forward led his squad with an efficient 10 points, though Team T-Mac was unable to make the championship game as VJ Edgecombe dropped 17 points for Team Vince. After playing a limited role in his rookie campaign, Tyson has had a breakout season for Cleveland thus far, averaging 13.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 steals in 27.8 minutes per tilt across 50 regular-season outings (35 starts) in 2025-26.

Yanic Konan Niederhauser C | LAC
Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Adds 11 points in Rising Stars Game
Niederhauser tallied 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 10 minutes in Team Austin's 40-34 Rising Stars loss to Team Melo on Friday.
The rookie first-rounder suited up for the G League Rising Stars on Friday and led all players in scoring, albeit in a losing effort. Niederhauser also knocked down a three-pointer, which he has yet to do for the Clippers this season. The 22-year-old center out of Penn State has averaged 3.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in just 9.0 minutes per game across 34 regular-season appearances in 2025-26. However, he has logged double-digit minutes in four of Los Angeles' last five outings and may continue seeing increased burn with Ivica Zubac (ankle) having been traded to the Pacers on Feb. 5.

VJ Edgecombe SG | PHI
76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Named Rising Stars MVP
Edgecombe was named the Rising Stars MVP on Friday and posted six points (2-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal across nine minutes in Team Vince's 25-24 win over Team Melo in the championship game.
Edgecombe closed the championship game with a pair of free throws to seal the victory and led his squad with six points. The rookie first-rounder also paced Team Vince in its 41-36 win over Team T-Mac in the semifinals, hitting the game-winning jumper and posting 17 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 13 minutes.

Collin Murray-Boyles PF | TOR
Raptors' Collin Murray-Boyles: Cleared for Rising Stars Game
Murray-Boyles (thumb) will play Friday in the Castrol Rising Stars Game at All-Star weekend in Los Angeles.
Murray-Boyles aggravated a lingering left thumb injury in Sunday's 122-104 win over the Pacers and sat out Wednesday's 113-95 loss to Detroit. However, he's shown enough improvement to suit up in the Rising Stars Game, where he'll be part of Team Melo alongside Reed Sheppard, Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, Jeremiah Fears, Ace Bailey and Donovan Clingan.

Riley Minix SF | CLE
Cavaliers' Riley Minix: Signs two-way pact
Minix agreed to a two-way contract with the Cavaliers on Friday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Minix began the 2025-26 campaign on a two-way deal with the Spurs but was ultimately waived in December. However, he'll latch on with the Cavaliers after spending time with their G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge. The 25-year-old forward will likely continue to spend most of his time with the Charge, but he'll provide emergency depth for the parent club. Over 23 G League outings between the Charge and the Austin Spurs this season, Minix has averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.3 minutes per tilt.

Zach LaVine SG | SAC
Kings' Zach LaVine: To undergo season-ending surgery
LaVine will undergo season-ending surgery on his right hand after the All-Star break, Chris Haynes of NBA TV reports.
After missing Sacramento's final three outings before the All-Star break due to right finger soreness, LaVine is scheduled to undergo season-ending hand surgery. The veteran swingman will finish the 2025-26 season with averages of 19.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 47.9 percent from the field and 39.0 percent from downtown across 31.4 minutes per contest in 39 regular-season games (37 starts). He holds a $48.97 million player option for the 2026-27 campaign. With LaVine sidelined, Nique Clifford should continue to see an expanded role, while Malik Monk (illness) and Devin Carter are also candidates for increased playing time.

Luka Doncic PG | LAL
Lakers' Luka Doncic: On track for All-Star Game
Doncic (hamstring) is expected to play in Sunday's All-Star Game, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports.
Doncic has missed the Lakers' last four contests due to a left hamstring strain, but he's in line to make a cameo Sunday after successfully making it through a workout prior to Thursday's win over Dallas. Barring any setbacks, all signs point toward the superstar guard being ready to roll for the Lakers' Feb. 20 matchup versus the Clippers on the other side of the All-Star break. Over his past 10 appearances before getting injured, Doncic averaged 30.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.8 minutes per game.

Cedric Coward SG | MEM
Grizzlies' Cedric Coward: Sitting out Rising Stars Game
The Grizzlies announced that Coward (knee) won't play Friday in the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars Game at All-Star weekend in Los Angeles, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
The rookie first-round pick missed the Grizzlies' final game before the All-Star break Wednesday in Denver due to right knee soreness, so he'll err on the side of caution by sitting out Friday's exhibition. With some extended rest on tap during the All-Star break, Coward could be ready to play in the Grizzlies' next game Feb. 20 against the Jazz.

Smart was back in the lineup after missing Tuesday's game against the Spurs with right ankle soreness. His fantasy appeal is mostly limited to deeper formats, as he's averaging 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 28.4 minutes per contest heading into the All-Star break.

LaRavia posted 11 points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes during Thursday's 124-104 win over the Mavericks.
Heading into the All-Star break, LaRavia has more than established himself as a key member of the rotation. Through 54 appearances, he's averaging 26.8 minutes with 9.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 three-pointers.
