  • Clippers' TyTy Washington: Gets garbage-time run in loss

Washington (hamstring) played the final 8:07 of Wednesday's 124-91 loss to the Cavaliers, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three assists and one turnover.

Washington's garbage-time cameo marked the two-way player's first appearance at either the NBA or G League level since Jan. 24, as he had been managing a sore right hamstring. The 24-year-old point guard appears likely to stick around with L.A. in the short term as an insurance option in the backcourt but could head to the G League once the newly acquired Darius Garland (toe) is deemed ready to make his Clippers debut.

  • Clippers' Bennedict Mathurin: Heading to LAC

The Pacers traded Mathurin (rest), Isaiah Jackson, two first-round picks and a second-round pick to the Clippers on Thursday in exchange for Ivica Zubac (personal) and Kobe Brown, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Injuries have limited Mathurin to just 28 regular-season games in 2025-26, but he's set to play a sizable role for the Clippers now that James Harden is out of the backcourt mix. His departure from Indiana frees up more playing time for Johnny Furphy, and his presence in Los Angeles should eat into the minutes of Jordan Miller. Mathurin averaged 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 29.6 minutes per contest in his last eight games for Indiana. He should be considered questionable for Friday's game in Sacramento while the trade finalizes.

  • Dylan Harper PG | SA

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Iffy for Thursday

Harper (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Mavericks, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.

Harper remains day-to-day after missing the front end of this back-to-back set Wednesday against the Thunder. If Harper remains on the shelf, guys like Julian Champagnie, Keldon Johnson and Jordan McLaughlin could be more involved.

  • Georges Niang PF | MEM

    Georges Niang: Waived by Memphis

The Grizzlies will waive Niang (foot) on Thursday, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

The Grizzlies needed to clear up a roster space to complete their Eric Gordon trade. Niang has yet to play this season while recovering from offseason foot surgery and remains without a timetable to return.

  • Spencer Jones SF | DEN

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Gets standard contract

The Nuggets will convert Jones (head) from a two-way deal to a standard NBA contract ahead of their next game Saturday in Chicago, Chris Haynes of NBA TV reports.

Jones had reached his allotted limit of 50 games as an active player at the NBA level, so converting him to a standard deal was a necessity in ensuring his availability for the remainder of the season. The second-year forward will now turn his focus toward getting healthy, after he was forced out of Wednesday's double-overtime loss to the Knicks with a head contusion and was sent in for a concussion evaluation. Across his 46 appearances on the season, Jones has connected on 50.5 percent of his attempts from the field while averaging 6.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers in 23.6 minutes per contest.

  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Pacers' Ivica Zubac: Headed to Indiana

Zubac (personal) and Kobe Brown are being traded to the Pacers on Thursday in exchange for Bennedict Mathurin (rest), Isaiah Jackson, two first-round picks and one second-round pick, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Zubac should slot in as Indiana's new starting center, but with the move to the 13-38 Pacers, his odds of experiencing a late-season shutdown have gone up exponentially. Zubac's arrival in Indiana will likely crush Jay Huff's fantasy value. The Pacers play Friday in Milwaukee, and for now, Zubac should be considered questionable for that one.

  • 76ers' Charles Bassey: Receives another 10-day pact

The 76ers signed Bassey to a second 10-day contract Thursday, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Bassey will return to Philadelphia on another short-term pact, despite not playing in any of the 76ers' prior six games while signed to a 10-day deal. The fifth-year center is likely to remain outside of the Philadelphia rotation unless injuries test the team's frontcourt depth.

  • Eric Gordon SF | PHI

76ers' Eric Gordon: Traded to Grizzlies

The 76ers agreed to trade Gordon and a 2032 second-round pick swap to the Grizzlies on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Gordon hasn't appeared for Philadelphia since Dec. 23, so the move doesn't seem to have a major impact on the fantasy landscape. Provided he stays put with Memphis, the 37-year-old swingman offers the team a veteran presence but is unlikely to play a notable part on the floor.

  • Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Iffy for Thursday

Melton (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns.

Melton is dealing with left knee soreness and may be in need of a maintenance day. If the veteran guard is unable to play, the Warriors could lean more on Pat Spencer and Will Richard.

  • Josh Minott SF | BKN

Nets' Josh Minott: Heading to Brooklyn

The Celtics traded Minott to the Nets on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Minott signed a two-year, $4.96 million deal with Boston this past offseason, including a team option for 2026-27. However, he'll now join Brooklyn and provide frontcourt depth for the rebuilding club. Minott fell out of favor in Boston and had appeared in just four games since Jan. 5. Over 33 regular-season outings (10 starts) for Boston, the forward averaged 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds across 15.9 minutes per tilt.
