    Suns' Grayson Allen: Starting Friday

Allen is in the Suns' starting lineup against the Lakers on Friday.

Allen will make his 27th start of the season Friday, but it'll be his first appearance in Phoenix's lineup since Feb. 5 against the Warriors. Over his last six outings, Allen has averaged 12.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.2 steals over 23.8 minutes per game. He should operate in an expanded role against the Lakers due to the absences of Devin Booker (ankle), Jalen Green (knee) and Jordan Goodwin (ankle).

  • E.J. Liddell SF | BKN

Nets' E.J. Liddell: Booted from Friday's game

Liddell was ejected from Friday's game against the Bucks after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Liddell was tagged with the Flagrant 2 foul early in the fourth quarter for smacking Jericho Sims in the face with the forearm. Liddell will end his night with 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3PT, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal over 32 minutes. Chaney Johnson could see some additional run time the rest of the way due to Liddell's absence.

  • Luke Kennard SG | LAL

Lakers' Luke Kennard: Cleared to play Friday

Kennard (finger) is available for Friday's game against Phoenix, Trevor Lane of LakersNation.com reports.

Kennard popped up on Friday's injury report due to a left finger injury, but the veteran sharpshooter has been given the green light to play against the Suns. He has started in each of the Lakers' last three games, and over that span he has averaged 13.0 points, 9.3 assists, 6.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals over 32.0 minutes per game.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Clippers' John Collins: Returning to bench Friday

Collins is not in the Clippers' starting lineup against the Trail Blazers on Friday, NBA writer Justin Russo reports.

Collins started in Wednesday's 128-110 loss to the Thunder, when he played 27 minutes and finished with 12 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. He'll revert to a bench role for Friday's contest due to the return of Darius Garland (toe).

  • Blake Hinson SF | UTA

Jazz's Blake Hinson: Starting sans Filipowski

Hinson will start Friday's game against Memphis.

With Kyle Filipowski (back) out, Hinson will get the starting nod. During his lone start of the season in a Feb. 28 loss to New Orleans, he posted eight points and five rebounds in 16 minutes.

  • Jalen Green SG | PHO

Suns' Jalen Green: Not playing against Lakers

Green (knee) is unavailable for Friday's game against the Lakers.

Green exited Wednesday's 112-107 win over Dallas after logging only four minutes. However, after being listed as questionable heading into this contest, the 24-year-old has been downgraded, giving him one more chance to play before the end of the regular season. With Devin Booker (ankle) also sidelined Friday, Collin Gillespie and Grayson Allen are expected to be the featured options out of the backcourt.

  • Jazz's Kennedy Chandler: Starting Friday

Chandler is in the Jazz's starting lineup against the Grizzlies on Friday.

The Jazz are down several players for Friday's game and opted to insert Chandler into the starting lineup minutes before the 9:30 p.m. ET tipoff. The 2022 second-rounder is coming off a career performance against the Pelicans on Tuesday, when he played 43 minutes and finished with 31 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, two steals and two three-pointers in a 156-137 loss.

  • Bez Mbeng SG | UTA

Jazz's Bez Mbeng: Not starting Friday

Mbeng won't start Friday's game against Memphis.

Mbeng started Tuesday's loss to the Pelicans but will retreat to the bench in favor of Kennedy Chandler on Friday. Mbeng has averaged 3.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals in 23.4 minutes per game over his last five appearances off the bench.

  • Tyrese Maxey PG | PHI

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Returns to Friday's contest

Maxey (hand) returned to Friday's game against Indiana, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Maxey appeared to suffer a right hand injury after going for a loose ball. He briefly exited to the locker room, although it appears he avoided a serious injury. Still, with only one more game left in the regular season after Friday's contest, Maxey might find himself on the injury report heading into Sunday's meeting with Milwaukee, at least for precautionary reasons.

  • Mavericks' Marvin Bagley: Won't return Friday

Bagley (shoulder) won't return to Friday's game against the Spurs, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports. He'll finish with two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in eight minutes.

Bagley logged eight minutes in the first quarter but won't return for the remainder of the game due to a left shoulder impingement, which previously cost him three straight games. He should be considered questionable for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Bulls until Dallas offers an update on his status.
