  • Jett Howard SG | ORL

Magic's Jett Howard: Out again Monday

Howard (ankle) is out for Monday's game against the Pistons.

Howard will miss his second straight contest, but his absence will have a minimal impact on the rotation in Orlando. The Magic could get Anthony Black (abdominal) back from a lengthy absence Monday.

  • Dillon Brooks SF | PHO

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Will play Tuesday

Brooks will play Tuesday against the Rockets after a technical foul was rescinded.

Brooks was assessed his 18th technical foul of the season Sunday, triggering an automatic one-game suspension. However, upon an NBA review, Brooks was later cleared of the foul. Look for him to be in the lineup Tuesday.

  • Anthony Black PG | ORL

Magic's Anthony Black: Another absence coming

Black (abdomen) is out for Monday's game against the Pistons.

Black will be sidelined for a 17th straight contest and remains without a timetable to return. His next chance to play is Wednesday against Minnesota.

  • Franz Wagner PF | ORL

    Magic's Franz Wagner: Resting Monday

Wagner has been ruled out for Monday against the Pistons due to left high-ankle sprain injury management.

As expected, Wagner will miss the second leg of the Magic's back-to-back set for rest purposes after he logged 20 minutes and recorded 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and one block in Sunday's 112-108 win over the Pelicans. With Wagner sitting out, Tristan da Silva is the most likely candidate to take his spot in the starting five Monday.

  • Suns' Rasheer Fleming: Falls out of rotation

Fleming (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Sunday in the Suns' 120-110 win over the Bulls.

With head coach Jordan Ott electing to reduce his rotation to nine men Sunday, Fleming ended up being the odd man out. The rookie second-round pick had appeared in each of the Suns' previous 20 games, averaging 6.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 three-pointers in 18.9 minutes while shooting 45.4 percent from the field. He'll likely find playing time difficult to come by moving forward now that Phoenix is at close to full strength.

  • Norman Powell SG | MIA

    Heat's Norman Powell: Practices Monday

Powell (illness) was able to practice Monday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Powell is trending in the right direction after missing the past four games for Miami. A return against the Raptors on Tuesday appears to be on the table.

  • Tyler Herro PG | MIA

Heat's Tyler Herro: Goes through practice

Herro (personal) practiced with Miami on Monday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Heraldreports.

Presumably, Herro will be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Raptors after missing Saturday's game versus Washington. More clarity will be known when the team releases its official injury report Monday afternoon.

  • Saddiq Bey SF | NO

Pelicans' Saddiq Bey: Pours in 32 points

Bey produced 32 points (10-24 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals in 39 minutes during Sunday's 112-108 loss to the Magic.

For the fourth time this season, Bey recorded at least 32 points for the Pelicans. Across 72 games this season, he's averaging 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.1 three-pointers.

  • Yves Missi C | NO

Pelicans' Yves Missi: Terrific line in loss

Missi amassed 18 points (8-9 FG, 2-4 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and four blocks over 40 minutes during Sunday's 112-108 loss to Orlando.

Missi recorded his fifth double-double of the season in the loss Sunday. He's fared well in 14 starts this season, posting averages of 7.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 blocks on 60.6 percent shooting from the field.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Fears: Scores 19 points in start

Fears recorded 19 points (4-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 9-11 FT), three rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals over 37 minutes during Sunday's 112-108 loss to the Magic.

With Trey Murphy (ankle) and Dejounte Murray (hand) sidelined, Fears was able to play a featured role in the backcourt. Over his last seven games, he averaged 17.7 points, 4.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 three-pointers on 46.2 percent shooting from the field.
