Nikola Vucevic C | BOS
Celtics' Nikola Vucevic: Questionable versus Toronto
Vucevic (finger) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against Toronto.
Vucevic underwent surgery to stabilize a fracture in his right ring finger in early March, keeping him off the floor for nearly a month. Although he's not a lock to suit up Sunday, the questionable tag suggests he might be back soon. If Vucevic is cleared to play, he'll likely see limited action from off the bench. If that's the case, Luka Garza may still see action behind Neemias Queta.

Ron Harper Jr. SF | BOS
Celtics' Ron Harper: Upgraded to standard deal
Harper agreed Saturday with the Celtics on a two-year contract, Shams Charania of ESPN.
Harper signed a two-way contract with the Celtics prior to the start of the 2025-26 season, but the 25-year-old forward has performed well enough between stops at the NBA level and G League to earn a spot on the 15-man roster, which will keep him available for the postseason. Despite being upgraded from his two-way deal, Harper isn't expected to be a regular member of the rotation when Boston is at full strength. Through 26 appearances with the Celtics this season, Harper has averaged 3.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 three-pointers in 10.3 minutes per game.

Al Horford C | GS
Warriors' Al Horford: Making progress toward return
Horford (calf) is "making good progress" toward a return and will be re-evaluated "early next week."
Horford has missed the Warriors' last 11 games while tending to a strained right soleus. Although the veteran's return date remains a mystery, he appears to be moving in a positive direction, participating in portions of Saturday's practice. The team indicated he will be re-evaluated "early next week," suggesting there is a chance he will return Tuesday versus Sacramento. With Quinten Post (foot) also sidelined, head coach Steve Kerr will presumably lean on Kristaps Porzingis and Draymond Green to handle most of the work in the middle.

Quinten Post C | GS
Warriors' Quinten Post: Set to be re-evaluated next week
The Warriors announced Saturday that Post (foot) will be re-evaluated next week.
Post is working his way back from right foot soreness, which has already cost him Golden State's past three contests. With Post and Al Horford (calf) both sidelined, the lion's share of the center minutes should fall onto Kristaps Porzingis and Draymond Green for the time being.

Simone Fontecchio SF | MIA
Heat's Simone Fontecchio: Drawing last-minute start
Fontecchio is starting Saturday against the Wizards.
The sharpshooter is a very late addition to the starting lineup after the Heat ruled out Tyler Herro for personal reasons moments before Saturday's tipoff. It's likely to only be a spot start for Fontecchio.

Mike Conley PG | MIN
Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Drops out of rotation Friday
Conley (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Friday in the Timberwolves' 115-103 loss to the 76ers.
Conley had started in each of the last four games while Anthony Edwards missed three of those contests and came off the bench for the other, but the former ended up falling out of the rotation Friday while the latter took back his normal spot on the top unit. Head coach Chris Finch leaned exclusively on Bones Hyland (30 minutes) and Terrence Shannon (nine minutes) as the team's reserve guards in the loss to Philadelphia.

Tyler Herro PG | MIA
Heat's Tyler Herro: Now ruled out Saturday
Herro (personal) won't play in Saturday's game against Washington.
Herro was on the injury report because of a foot injury but was cleared to play. However, he has since been ruled out due to a personal issue, opening the door for Simone Fontecchio to enter the starting lineup. The 30-year-old has started seven times this season, averaging 10.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.3 blocks and 0.6 steals across 25.9 minutes in those appearances.

Moe Wagner C | ORL
Magic's Moritz Wagner: No playing time in win
Wagner (coach's decision) went unused off the bench in Friday's 138-127 win over the Mavericks.
Wagner had seen the court in each of the Magic's previous five games, but he played under 10 minutes in four of those outings, and two appearances came in blowouts. With Friday's contest proving to be more competitive throughout, head coach Jamahl Mosley leaned exclusively on Goga Bitadze (12 minutes) as the backup center when starter Wendell Carter (36 minutes) was off the court.

Jamison Battle SF | TOR
Raptors' Jamison Battle: Plays garbage time in return
Battle (illness) played the final 4:31 of Friday's 128-96 win over the Grizzlies, finishing with two points (1-1 FG) and one rebound.
After missing Toronto's previous three games while recovering from an ailment, Battle was cleared to return to action but wasn't part of the rotation while the game was competitive. All of his playing time came in the fourth quarter, when Toronto had already built an insurmountable lead. Head coach Darko Rajakovic appears set to prioritize A.J. Lawson ahead of Battle for the ninth spot in his rotation while Immanuel Quickley (foot) remains sidelined indefinitely.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo PF | MIL
Bucks' Thanasis Antetokounmpo: Plays in garbage time in return
Antetokounmpo (calf) played the final 5:12 of Friday's 133-101 loss to the Celtics, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one steal.
Cleared to play after missing the Bucks' previous four games due to a left calf strain, Antetokounmpo wasn't included in the rotation but was able to see some action in garbage time. The 33-year-old has been a bit player for Milwaukee throughout the season, appearing in 31 contests while averaging 1.2 points and 0.9 rebounds in 3.7 minutes per game.
