  • Dean Wade PF | CLE

Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Probable for Sunday

Wade (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against Boston.

Wade was able to practice Friday and is trending towards a return after three games on the shelf. With Jarrett Allen (knee) sidelined, the Cavaliers may need Wade to soak up a handful of minutes in the frontcourt.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Not playing Sunday

Allen (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

Allen injured his right knee during the Cavaliers' win over the Pistons on Tuesday. The injury will sideline the veteran center for Sunday's contest, but he could return for the second leg of the Cavaliers' back-to-back set against the 76ers on Sunday. Thomas Bryant figures to be the top candidate to enter Cleveland's starting lineup in Allen's absence.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Probable for Sunday

Mitchell (groin) is probable for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

After missing the past four games for Cleveland, Mitchell is trending towards a return to action. Sunday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so it will be interesting to see how the Cavaliers handle his minutes.

  • Jordan Walsh SF | BOS

Celtics' Jordan Walsh: Off injury report

Walsh (illness) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Cavaliers.

Walsh was sidelined for Friday's 120-100 win over the Mavericks due to an illness, but the third-year pro has recovered enough to return for Sunday's road tilt. His minutes were set to take a sizable hit due to the return of Jayson Tatum, but Walsh could still see some meaningful playing time for the next couple of weeks due to the absence of Nikola Vucevic (finger).

  • Anthony Black PG | ORL

Magic's Anthony Black: Won't return Saturday

Black (back) has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game against the Timberwolves. He'll finish with zero points (0-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal over two minutes.

Black will miss the rest of Saturday's game after straining his lower back early in the fourth quarter, and the injury puts him in jeopardy of missing the second leg of the Magic's back-to-back set against the Bucks on Sunday. Tristan da Silva started in place of Black for the second half of Saturday's contest.

  • Ausar Thompson SF | DET

Pistons' Ausar Thompson: Likely to miss time, but day-to-day

Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said Saturday that Thompson is considered "day-to-day" while he recovers from a right ankle sprain, Hunter Patterson of The Athletic reports.

Thompson sprained the ankle during the first quarter of the Pistons' 121-106 loss to the Spurs on Thursday. He's since been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Nets, and with Bickerstaff noting that it's "going to be a minute" before Thompson plays again, the third-year forward looks safe to rule out through Sunday's road game against Miami. Kevin Huerter, Caris LeVert and Javonte Green are all candidates to enter the Pistons' starting lineup in Thompson's stead beginning with Saturday's game.

  • Nikola Topic PG | OKC

Thunder's Nikola Topic: Recalled by G League

The Thunder recalled Topic from the G League's Oklahoma City Blue on Saturday, Rylan Stiles of SI.com reports.

Topic will rejoin the parent club after suiting up earlier Saturday in the Blue's 123-117 loss to the Texas Legends, finishing with 28 points (11-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block in 28 minutes. While he'll be available for the Thunder for their matchup with the Warriors later Saturday, Topic isn't expected to see extended playing time off the bench after having already logged a heavy workload in the G League just hours earlier.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Ruled out Saturday

Kuminga (knee) will not play Saturday against the 76ers.

Kuminga was unable to shake his questionable tag and will be sidelined for a second straight contest. With this news, Corey Kispert and Zaccharie Risacher could soak up some minutes at forward for Atlanta.

  • Anthony Black PG | ORL

Magic's Anthony Black: Questionable to return Saturday

Black is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Timberwolves due to a lower-back strain.

Black exited to the locker room early in the first quarter and is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return. Tristan da Silva, Jevon Carter and Jett Howard will likely take on larger roles for as long as Black is sidelined.

  • Andrew Wiggins SF | MIA

Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Iffy for Sunday

Wiggins (knee/toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Pistons.

Wiggins didn't play against the Hornets on Friday due to bilateral knee tendinitis, but he has been tagged with left big toe inflammation in the most recent injury report. If he's unable to play Sunday, then Myron Gardner and Kel'el Ware would likely continue to operate in increased roles.
