  • Wizards' Bub Carrington: Serviceable performance in loss

Carrington contributed 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 28 minutes during Monday's 123-118 loss to Houston.

Carrington was able to chip in on both ends of the court, albeit on low volume. Although he has been largely healthy of late, Carrington has been far from a must-roster fantasy asset. In 13 appearances over the past month, he has averaged 9.0 points, 4.4 assists and 1.5 three-pointers, leaving him well outside the top 300 in standard leagues.

  • Jaden Hardy SG | WAS

Wizards' Jaden Hardy: Scores in double digits again

Hardy provided 14 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 18 minutes during Monday's 123-118 loss to the Rockets.

Hardy continues to provide the Wizards with an offensive punch off the bench, tallying double digits for the sixth straight appearance. While he has managed to flash some offensive upside, Hardy's peripheral production remains basically non-existent. In his six games as a Wizard, Hardy has recorded a total of 14 rebounds, three assists and three combined steals and blocks.

  • Julian Reese PF | WAS

Wizards' Julian Reese: Logs 28 minutes in debut

Reese fouled out of Monday's 123-118 loss to the Rockets after recording two points (1-3 FG), four rebounds and three steals in 28 minutes.

Reese was given the starting nod, suiting up for the first time in his career. With both Alex Sarr (hamstring) and Tristan Vukcevic (thigh) sidelined, Washington went deep into its rotation. If both players are to miss additional time, Reese could be worth a look as a short-term defensive streaming option.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Rockets' Clint Capela: Minimal impact in win

Capela finished Monday's 123-118 victory over the Wizards with four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and one assist over 11 minutes.

Capela continues to do the bare minimum with his time on the floor, averaging just 3.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 12.0 minutes per game in seven appearances over the past two weeks. Houston is very thin when it comes to the center spot, as Capela struggling to hold his own, even against the opposition's second unit.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Goes for 32-and-12

Sengun finished with 32 points (12-20 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-11 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during Monday's 123-118 win over Washington.

Sengun took advantage of an undermanned frontcourt, scoring at least 30 points for the first time in his past 12 games. While he was able to score at will against the likes of Julian Reese and Will Riley, Sengun's eight turnovers cannot be overlooked. For those in nine-category formats, rostering a center who averages 3.2 turnovers per game has to be factored in when evaluating his overall value.

  • Reed Sheppard SG | HOU

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Dominates on both ends

Sheppard finished Monday's 123-118 victory over Washington with 19 points (7-18 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and six steals over 42 minutes.

Sheppard was a menace on the defensive end, while also contributing heavily on offense. He closed by recording his first double-double of the season, continuing what has been a strong run over the past week. In four appearances during that time, he has averaged 20.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 5.0 three-pointers and 3.8 combined steals and blocks, making him a first-round asset. The impending return of Jabari Smith (ankle) could bring all of this to a grinding halt; however, managers would be wise to hold Sheppard, just in case he has, in fact, turned the corner.

  • Kyle Kuzma PF | MIL

Bucks' Kyle Kuzma: Exits rotation Monday

Kuzma (coach's decision) went unused Monday in the Bucks' 108-81 loss to the Celtics.

A starter in each of his last 17 appearances, Kuzma moved to the bench and ended up falling out of the rotation entirely while Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) made his return from a five-plus-week absence. According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, head coach Doc Rivers confirmed after the game that Kuzma wasn't dealing with any sort of injury or illness, so the veteran forward's absence from the rotation could prove to be more than a one-time arrangement.

  • Amen Thompson SG | HOU

Rockets' Amen Thompson: Leaves early with ankle injury

Thompson didn't return to Monday's 123-118 win over the Wizards after exiting with 8:11 remaining in the fourth quarter due to a right ankle injury. He finished with 22 points (10-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals across 31 minutes.

Thompson was well on his way to a monstrous performance before the ankle injury ended up cutting his night short. Even with the early exit, Thompson still came through with his 13th double-double in 58 appearances on the season. An update on the specifics and severity of Thompson's injury should surface no later than Wednesday, when the Rockets will release their first injury report in advance of Thursday's game against the Warriors.

  • Gui Santos SF | GS

Warriors' Gui Santos: Not starting Monday

Santos is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Santos had started each of the past 10 games, but the Warriors will opt to open with a frontcourt of Draymond Green and Al Horford on Monday. In 35 appearances off the bench this season, Santos is averaging 4.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 11.7 minutes per contest.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Warriors' Al Horford: Back with starters

Horford is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Horford will return to the first unit Monday after coming off the bench Saturday against the Lakers. Gui Santos will be deployed off the bench in a corresponding move. Horford has scored in double figures in each of his previous four chances as a starter.
