  • Darius Garland PG | LAC

Clippers' Darius Garland: Lacks clear return timeline

Garland (toe) has no timetable for a return, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Garland's sprained right toe is healed, but he's still recovering from offseason left toe surgery. It sounds like the Clippers are erring on the side of caution ahead of the All-Star break, so it appears safe to rule out the star guard for Tuesday's game against the Rockets and Wednesday's rematch versus Houston, barring any changes to his status. Kris Dunn, Bennedict Mathurin and Jordan Miller should help pick up the slack in the backcourt.

  • Clippers' Bennedict Mathurin: Available to play

Mathurin will be available for Tuesday's game against Houston, Farbod reports.

Mathurin was acquired from Indiana at the trade deadline and is expected to step into a sizable role right out of the gate. The Clippers have made a lot of changes, but Mathurin could be set up nicely to be the No. 2 option on offense behind Kawhi Leonard.

  • Doug McDermott SF | SAC

    Kings' Doug McDermott: Available Monday

McDermott (shoulder) is available for Monday's game against the Pelicans.

McDermott is available off the bench to play through right shoulder soreness. The sharpshooter could see a minor role due to the absences of Zach LaVine (finger) and Malik Monk (illness), but it's unlikely to be enough to warrant much fantasy consideration.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Won't play Monday

Sabonis (back) is out for Monday against the Pelicans.

Sabonis will be sidelined for a third straight game, but he continues to be listed as day-to-day. Presumably, the Kings are going to move forward with extreme caution. In the meantime, Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell are expected to hold down the fort at center.

  • T.J. McConnell PG | IND

Pacers' T.J. McConnell: Producing in limited action

McConnell accumulated 10 points (5-5 FG), three rebounds, seven assists and one block across 16 minutes during Sunday's 122-104 loss to the Raptors.

The veteran floor general continues to be an effective per-minute contributor for the Pacers. McConnell has averaged 8.8 points, 4.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 15.9 minutes per contest in his last six games, but his fantasy value is likely to remain held back by his role and lack of availability on both ends of back-to-backs.

  • Heat's Simone Fontecchio: Provides spark off bench

Fontecchio amassed 12 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals across 19 minutes during Sunday's 132-101 victory over the Wizards.

Fontecchio is carving out a solid role for himself in the Miami rotation recently. The sharpshooter has averaged 9.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.6 three-pointers in 20.8 minutes per contest in his last seven games, while the Heat have dealt with several absences.

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Steady campaign continues

Gobert ended with 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block over 30 minutes during Sunday's 115-96 loss to the Clippers.

Gobert continues to go about his business as a reliable source of boards and swats. Over his last seven appearances, the veteran center has averaged 9.7 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals in 29.5 minutes per game.

  • Jalen Johnson SF | ATL

Hawks' Jalen Johnson: Added to injury report

Johnson is questionable for Monday's game against Minnesota with left knee inflammation.

Johnson is a late addition to the injury report, which is generally a bad sign. If the star forward can't play, more playing time would open up for Corey Kispert and Zaccharie Risacher in the Atlanta frontcourt.

  • Clippers' Derrick Jones: Full stat line Sunday

Jones closed with five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals across 28 minutes during Sunday's 115-96 win over the Timberwolves.

Jones continues to work his way back from an extended absence with a knee injury, chipping in a full stat line. Over his last three appearances, Jones has averaged 8.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 25.8 minutes per contest.

  • Brandon Ingram SF | TOR

Raptors' Brandon Ingram: Held to 13 points

Ingram supplied 13 points (5-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one block over 26 minutes during Sunday's 122-104 victory over the Pacers.

This was a rare off night for Ingram, so fantasy managers shouldn't be overly concerned about it. Over his last 14 outings, he's been a third-round value in nine-category formats with 22.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers.
