  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Won't play Thursday

Wembanyama (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Clippers, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.

Wembanyama will be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set due to injury management, and his next opportunity to play will come Saturday in Denver. With the star big man sidelined, Luke Kornet will likely get the starting nod, while Mason Plumlee and Kelly Olynyk are candidates to see increased minutes off the bench.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

Spurs' Luke Kornet: Removed from injury report

Kornet (knee) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the Clippers, per Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com.

Kornet is available after sitting out Wednesday's loss to the Warriors, and it's plausible he'll draw a spot start in the absence of Victor Wembanyama (ankle) on Thursday. For the year, Kornet has averaged 7.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 blocks in 25.8 minutes per contest through 23 starts.

  • Chucky Hepburn PG | TOR

Raptors' Chucky Hepburn: Remains out indefinitely

Hepburn (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

Hepburn underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee Jan. 8 and was spotted without crutches in late February. However, the Raptors have to yet to offer an update on his progress, so he can be considered week-to-week for the time being.

  • Seth Curry SG | GS

    Warriors' Seth Curry: Questionable Thursday

Curry (groin) is questionable for Thursday's game versus Cleveland.

Curry is at risk of sitting out the second part of this back-to-back set. His absence would free up a few extra minutes for Brandin Podziemski and Gary Payton in the backcourt Thursday.

  • Warriors' Quinten Post: Won't play Thursday

Post is out for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers due to right foot injury management.

Thursday will mark a second consecutive absence for Post, who left Sunday's loss to Denver early. Kristaps Porzingis and Draymond Green should share the center minutes for the Warriors versus Cleveland.

  • Gui Santos SF | GS

Warriors' Gui Santos: Listed as questionable

Santos (pelvis) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers.

A right pelvic contusion could cost Santos both legs of this back-to-back set. Gary Payton and LJ Cryer are both candidates for increased playing time if Santos is unable to suit up Thursday.

  • Warriors' Stephen Curry: Officially out Thursday

Curry (knee) is out for Thursday's game against Cleveland.

Curry was previously considered doubtful for this contest. Based on multiple reports, the superstar is targeting a return Sunday against the Rockets if his knee continues to respond well to workouts.

  • Warriors' Gary Payton: Available for Thursday

Payton (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers.

Payton will be back in action after sitting out the front end of this back-to-back set for maintenance. With so many Warriors injured, Payton could see a sizable workload Thursday.

  • Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Listed as questionable

Melton is questionable for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers due to a left thumb strain.

Melton is at risk of missing both ends of this back-to-back set. Will Richard and Pat Spencer would have a clearer pathway to playing in the backcourt if Melton is ultimately downgraded to out Thursday.

  • Knicks' Miles McBride: Available to play

McBride (pelvis) is available for Friday's game against Chicago.

McBride was given a maintenance day Wednesday against Memphis, but he has the green light to reprise his role as the backup point guard behind Jalen Brunson.
