  • Paul Reed C | DET

Pistons' Paul Reed: Makes first appearance of series

Reed tallied 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 FT) and three rebounds over 10 minutes during the Pistons' 116-109 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Saturday.

Reed was a healthy DNP for the first two games of the series, but the veteran big man checked in during the third quarter of Saturday's game. He made an immediate impact off the bench, connecting on all of his shots from both the field and charity stripe, and his plus-11 point differential was second-best on the Pistons behind Ausar Thompson (plus-12). Given his solid play off the bench in Game 3, Reed should be part of Detroit's rotation for Game 4 on Monday.

  • Lakers' Jarred Vanderbilt: Available to play

Vanderbilt (finger) is available for Saturday's Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

Vanderbilt is back after a one-game absence, which could result in fewer minutes for Dalton Knecht and Jake LaRavia. Vanderbilt is averaging 3.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game this postseason.

  • Jalen Williams SF | OKC

Thunder's Jalen Williams: Remaining out for Game 3

The Thunder list Williams (hamstring) out Saturday against the Lakers in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Williams will miss his fifth straight playoff game due to a left hamstring strain after sustaining the injury in Game 2 of the Thunder's first-round series versus the Suns. The 24-year-old had been limited to just 33 appearances during the regular season, missing time due to a pair of wrist surgeries along with a pair of right hamstring strains. If Oklahoma City is able to win Saturday and push its series lead to 3-0, the Thunder could continue to hold Williams out for Game 4 with the aim of ensuring he's closer to full health for the start of the Western Conference Finals.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Finishes with triple-double in loss

Cunningham finished with 27 points (10-27 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 39 minutes in Saturday's 116-109 loss to Cleveland in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Cunningham finished with his first triple-double of the postseason. However, not everything went well, with the 24-year-old committing eight turnovers, nearly as many as he had in the first two contests of the series combined. He also had trouble shooting the ball, making just 37.0 percent of his shots from the field and 33.3 percent from behind the three-point line. With the victory by the Cavaliers, Cunningham and company will look to get back in the win column in Game 4 on Monday night.

  • James Harden PG | CLE

Cavaliers' James Harden: Dishes seven dimes in Game 3 win

Harden logged 19 points (8-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven assists, two rebounds and one steal over 39 minutes in Saturday's 116-109 win over the Pistons in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Harden took a back seat to Donovan Mitchell (35 points) in the scoring category, but the veteran lefty led the Cavaliers with seven dimes. Harden also helped the Cavs close things out with nine points in the fourth quarter, seven of which were scored in the final 90 seconds of the contest. He is averaging 19.5 points, 6.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 2.2 threes and 1.8 steals over 37.0 minutes per game in the playoffs.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Drops 35 points in Game 3 victory

Mitchell logged 35 points (13-24 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists over 38 minutes during Saturday's 116-109 win over the Pistons in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Mitchell set the tone for the Cavaliers early by scoring 20 of his game-high 35 points in the first half, and he helped close things out with another nine points in the fourth quarter, five of which came from the charity stripe. The superstar guard has scored 30-plus points in back-to-back games and has reached that mark in four of 10 postseason games. For the playoffs, Mitchell is averaging 25.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.8 threes and 0.8 steals over 35.6 minutes per game while connecting on 45.5 percent of his field-goal attempts. Game 4 takes place Monday, when Mitchell and the Cavaliers will look to even the series at 2-2.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Likely to play in Game 4

Embiid (hip) is listed as probable for Sunday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Knicks.

Embiid was unable to play in Game 2 due to an ankle injury. He returned for Game 3 on Friday and played 35 minutes in a 108-94 loss, and while he's now dealing with a hip issue, the injury doesn't appear to be severe enough for him to miss Sunday's do-or-die contest. Embiid has averaged 24.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.0 blocks over 34.3 minutes per game across six postseason contests.

  • OG Anunoby SF | NY

Knicks' OG Anunoby: Questionable for Game 4

Anunoby (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the 76ers.

Anunoby was unable to play in the Sixers' Game 3 win Friday after tweaking his right hamstring in Game 2. He has a chance to return for Game 4, but if he's unable to play, then Miles McBride would likely remain in the Knicks' starting lineup, with Landry Shamet and Jordan Clarkson also seeing extended playing time.

  • Kevin Huerter SG | DET

Pistons' Kevin Huerter: Out again Saturday

Huerter (adductor) is listed as out for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals versus Cleveland.

Huerter will now miss a sixth consecutive contest. His next chance to return will be for Game 4 on Monday night. While Huerter remains on the shelf, Daniss Jenkins should see even more work from off the bench.

  • Sam Merrill SG | CLE

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Officially cleared for Game 3

Merrill (hamstring) is available for Saturday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals versus Detroit, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Merrill didn't play in Game 2 because of a left hamstring strain. However, after trending favorably Saturday, the 29-year-old is now officially cleared to return from his one-game absence. Merrill has averaged 6.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.4 steals across 18.5 minutes in eight postseason games. Although he hasn't been a reliable producer, his presence could mean Max Strus, Dean Wade and Dennis Schroder will see less work.
