  • Jared McCain SG | OKC

Thunder's Jared McCain: Strong line off bench

McCain recorded 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-5 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists across 15 minutes during Tuesday's 108-90 victory over the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

McCain made a strong impression off the bench, leading the second unit in scoring. Luguentz Dort has been underwhelming offensively for the Thunder, so McCain could potentially chip away at the veteran's workload if he keeps this up.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Remains consistent in postseason

Mitchell registered 23 points (9-19 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 111-101 loss to Detroit in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Mitchell put up 20 points in his third consecutive game, reaching the 15-point mark for the eighth time in as many postseason contests. Overall, the superstar guard has averaged 23.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.0 three-pointers in 35.1 minutes per game during the 2026 playoffs.

  • Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Nearly double-doubles

Hartenstein provided eight points (3-3 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 108-90 victory over the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Just like the regular season, Hartenstein has been a steady presence in the frontcourt to open the postseason. Through five outings, the Thunder have yet to lose a game with Hartenstein averaging 10.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 steals.

  • Isaiah Stewart PF | DET

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Limited role continues

Stewart racked up six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 13 minutes during Tuesday's 111-101 win over the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

With Jalen Duren dominating the center minutes for the Pistons, Stewart continues to play a limited role this postseason. Stewart has averaged 4.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 14.1 minutes per contest across eight games in the 2026 playoffs, shooting 55.0 percent from the field.

  • Luguentz Dort SF | OKC

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Sees 28 minutes in Game 1

Dort recorded six points (2-5 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds and four assists across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 108-90 win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Dort's usage was very low in Game 1, but that's to be expected in the postseason. Through five playoff games, Dort has been very quiet with averages of 6.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists on 36.7 percent shooting from the field.

  • Marcus Smart PG | LAL

Lakers' Marcus Smart: Plays well in loss

Smart registered 12 points (4-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and four steals over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 108-90 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

The Lakers continue to rely heavily on Smart in the postseason, with Luka Doncic (hamstring) still on the mend. Through seven playoff games, Smart holds averages of 14.3 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 2.9 steals in 34.7 minutes per contest.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Ruled out for Game 2

Embiid (ankle/hip) is out for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Knicks on Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

This comes as a huge surprise after Embiid initially carried a probable tag. Charania notes that Embiid is dealing with ankle and hip issues, and it appears as though the fatigue from the opening-round win against Boston is catching up to him, as he was unable to participate in Wednesday's morning shootaround. The 76ers may now lean more on Andre Drummond and Adem Bona at center, but it's also possible the team relies on some small-ball lineups.

  • Luka Doncic PG | LAL

Lakers' Luka Doncic: Begins next phase of rehab

Doncic (hamstring) said Wednesday that he has started running again, Dan Woike of The Athletic reports.

Doncic has been sidelined by a Grade 2 left hamstring strain since April 2. He said he was originally given an eight-week timetable, but he's been doing everything in his power to beat that. He's yet to be cleared for contact and remains week-to-week for the time being, but he's at least trending in the right direction.

  • Ayo Dosunmu PG | MIN

Timberwolves' Ayo Dosunmu: Available for Game 2

Dosunmu (calf) is available for Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Spurs on Wednesday.

Dosunmu is set to return following a two-game absence. As of now, it's unclear if he will face any restrictions for this game. With this news, Terrence Shannon may see a reduced role. However, Anthony Edwards (knee) remains questionable after he surprisingly returned to action in a reserve role during Game 1.

  • Ajay Mitchell PG | OKC

Thunder's Ajay Mitchell: Strikes for 18 in Game 1 win

Mitchell totaled 18 points (7-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and four assists across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 108-90 win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Making his third straight start in place of Jalen Williams (hamstring), Mitchell delivered another solid scoring effort. During his stint in the starting five, the second-year guard is averaging 18.3 points, 4.0 boards, 4.0 assists and 2.0 threes in 31.3 minutes, and with Williams still lacking a clear timeline for his return, Mitchell should remain in a key role for Game 2 on Thursday.
