Thompson-Robinson could head into Week 1 as the top backup to starting quarterback Deshaun Watson, as the Browns are reportedly entertaining trade offers for reserve signal-callers Jameis Winston and Tyler Huntley, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The Browns kept four quarterbacks on their initial 53-man roster, so it would seem they are in the market to deal at least one of them. Winston was viewed as the top backup quarterback during training camp and the preseason, while the competition for the third spot was between Thompson-Robinson and Huntley.
