Amari Cooper only played on 35% of snaps last Sunday for the Buffalo Bills after being acquired from the Cleveland Browns earlier in the week, but he still had four receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown to finish as the WR14 in Fantasy football. Now that he has a full week of practice and more time to become familiar with the offense and playing with quarterback Josh Allen, how high should he be in the Week 8 Fantasy football WR rankings? Is he a no-brainer starter for Week 8 Fantasy football lineups this week, or could it take longer for him to guarantee himself enough snaps to be a safe option for Fantasy football picks? Buffalo is favored by three in the latest NFL odds.

Allen has been spreading the ball around this season, so which Buffalo pass-catchers can you trust with your Week 8 Fantasy football picks? Before setting your Fantasy football lineups, be sure to check out the Week 8 Fantasy football rankings from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

When it comes to ranking players, SportsLine's model beat human experts in Fantasy football for the past several seasons, especially when there were big differences in ranking. Over the course of a season, that could literally be the difference between winning your league or going home empty-handed.

The same model has a proven track record of providing Fantasy football tips, including being ahead of the curve on players like A.J. Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara, and Jahmyr Gibbs. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

Top Week 8 Fantasy football QB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 8 Fantasy football QB picks:

1. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson won his second NFL MVP last season and he's put himself in position to make NFL history as an encore. No quarterback has ever thrown for 4,000 yards and rushed for 1,000 yards, but Jackson is on that pace after throwing for 1,810 yards and rushing for 455 over his first seven games. He's thrown for 15 touchdowns and added two more on the ground while only throwing two interceptions.

2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: After throwing a career-high 18 interceptions in 2023, Allen has gone seven games without throwing a pick to open the 2024 season and he's coming off his best game of the year. Allen threw for 323 yards and two touchdowns against the Titans and now matches up with a Seahawks secondary that has given up 1,050 yards and eight passing touchdowns in the last four games.

3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals have won three of four to get back to 3-4 on the season and the offense has not been the problem. Burrow has thrown for 1,759 yards and 14 touchdowns with only two interceptions in seven games and enters the week as QB5 in Fantasy this season. The Eagles are a top-10 pass defense on paper but abused Daniel Jones and Deshaun Watson to get there while giving up 347 yards and two touchdowns against Baker Mayfield in their last real test. See more top QBs here.

Top Week 8 Fantasy football RB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 8 Fantasy football RB picks:

1. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens: Simply calling Henry the NFL's leading rusher doesn't seem to justify his season. The 30-year-old leads the NFL in rushing by more than 200 yards with his 873 rushing yards topping No. 2 Jordan Mason's 667 yards by 207 yards. Henry is averaging 124.7 rushing yards per game, which is 15 yards more than any other player, ahead of a matchup against the Browns. Jameis Winston is making his first start with the Browns and given his interception history, the Ravens could start some drives in positive field position, which gives Henry even more touchdown opportunities.

2. J.K. Dobbins, Los Angeles Chargers: Few running backs have the nearly guaranteed usage as Dobbins in a run-heavy offense with Gus Edwards (ankle) out. Dobbins has taken 78% of running back carries over the last two weeks with Edwards on IR. The Chargers are seventh in the NFL in rush-play percentage and that's without a mobile quarterback. Los Angeles plays the Saints, who are allowing the second-most yards per carry (5.4) and fourth-most rushing yards (146.7) this season.

3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley had a chance to set a career-high in rushing yards against his former team last week if he chose to remain in the contest after the Eagles pulled their starters in a 28-3 win over the Giants. He rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and he's second in the NFL in rushing yards per game (109.7). The model expects that success to continue against the Bengals, who rank 21st in rushing yards per game allowed. See more top RBs here.

Top Week 8 Fantasy football WR rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 8 Fantasy football WR picks:

1. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown secured all eight targets for 112 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' 31-29 win over the Vikings on Sunday. St. Brown led the Lions in receptions, receiving yards and targets with totals that also served as the second-highest for him this season. He'll now look to dissect a Titans defense that just gave up a 100-yard performance to Bills rookie Keon Coleman.

2. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: Chase recorded five receptions on six targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Browns. Chase has now scored at least one touchdown in four of his past five games, recording six total touchdowns during that span. Fellow receiver Tee Higgins is inactive, which should funnel more targets Chase's way.

3. A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles: Brown has been electric since returning to Philadelphia's lineup following a hamstring injury. He hauled in all five of his targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants. He also caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown against the Browns on Oct. 13 and he'll remain heavily involved in Philadelphia's game plan against a Bengals defense that is giving up 353.1 yards per game on average. See more top WRs here.

Top Week 8 Fantasy football TE rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 8 Fantasy football TE picks:

1. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers: Worth noting here that Kittle is day-to-day with a foot injury, but he'll be San Francisco's most reliable receiving option with Brandon Aiyuk (ACL) done for the year and Deebo Samuel questionable with pneumonia. He's averaging 18.5 points per game in PPR over his last five outings.

2. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kelce still hasn't scored a touchdown this season but he's been targeted 29 times over the last four games after only being targeted seven times during the first two weeks. He's also owned the Raiders historically, with 111 catches for 1,424 yards and 11 touchdowns against them in 20 regular-season matchups.

3. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: After an incredible rookie season where he caught 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns to finish as TE1, LaPorta is off to a sluggish start in 2024 and currently ranks TE21 in CBS Sports PPR leagues. However, Jared Goff's passer rating when targeting LaPorta is 138.4 and it's only a matter of time before he is featured more extensively in this diverse offense, especially with Jameson Williams suspended two games. See more top TEs here.

Top Week 8 Fantasy football defense rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three Week 8 Fantasy football D/ST picks:

1. Ravens D/ST: The Ravens ranked last in the NFL in pass defense but first in run defense. Now they'll take on a Browns offense that ranks last in the NFL in net adjusted yards per pass attempt (3.9) and will be without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson the rest of the year.

2. Jets D/ST: New York ranks 11th in the NFL in scoring defense and sixth in total defense entering a Week 8 matchup against the Patriots. Drake Maye has been okay in his first two starts but this Jets secondary is likely to make life tough on him.

3. Broncos D/ST: This Denver defense ranks third in the NFL in points allowed and yards allowed and it doesn't have a particular weakness, ranking top 10 against the run and the pass. Now the Broncos draw a Panthers offense that only managed 180 yards and seven points last week. See more top D/ST here
