One of my favorite games for Week 1 is Jacksonville at Miami. The expected total is 49 points, according to Las Vegas, and I'm counting on both offenses to show up in a big way.
With that in mind, my favorite DFS play is Christian Kirk for the upcoming slate. He should have the chance for a huge game against the Dolphins.
Miami will have Jaelen Phillips (Achilles) available for this game, and we'll see if Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) is able to play after getting in a limited practice Friday. But Bradley Chubb (ACL) is out, and I'm not expecting the Dolphins to get much pressure on Trevor Lawrence.
Last year, the Dolphins allowed 12 receivers to score at least 15 PPR points and 12.2 half-PPR points. And Kirk should take on a bigger role for the Jaguars this season with 200 targets vacated from Calvin Ridley and Zay Jones leaving Jacksonville.
Kirk should be the go-to option for Lawrence, and he's a great price on FanDuel ($6,100) and DraftKings ($5,500). I'm excited to see what Kirk can do in this matchup with the Dolphins.
