Woods (Achilles) logged a full practice session Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. An Achilles injury resulted in Woods sitting out each of Seattle's past two games, but his ability to fully participate in practice Wednesday suggests that the nose tackle will be able to return New Year's Day against the Jets, barring any setbacks. Woods racked up 37 tackles, two sacks and a pass defense over 12 contests prior to suffering the injury.

Woods (Achilles) has been ruled inactive ahead of Thursday Night Football against the 49ers. Woods was forced out with what was initially deemed as a heel injury during Sunday's loss to the Panthers. This was then changed to an Achilles designation on Monday's injury report, and he was sidelined for each session during the short week of practice. With Woods out, expect Bryan Mone to step up into a starting role Thursday night.

Woods (knee) logged a full practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Woods suffered a knee injury in Week 5's loss to the Saints and has been slow to return since. The veteran defensive tackle is trending in the right direction by logging a full practice Thursday. Woods has logged 19 tackles (13 solo), one pass breakup and one sack through his five games with Seattle. Friday's practice should provide more clarity on Woods' status for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Woods (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Woods sustained a knee injury in Week 5's loss to the Saints and did not practice at all before being ruled out for Sunday's win over the Cardinals. Now, the 35-year-old seems to have taken a step forward by working his way back in a limited fashion Wednesday. Woods has recorded 19 tackles, one sack and a pass defended this season, and he'll have two more practices to improve his status before Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Woods has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Saints due to a knee injury, John Hendrix of SI.com reports. Woods recorded five tackles before leaving the game in the second half due to a knee injury. In his absence, Bryan Mone will be a strong candidate to see increased snaps the rest of the way.
