The Saints are set to re-sign Jordan to a one-year contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Jordan has spent his entire career in New Orleans, the team that selected him in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He rebounded impressively across 17 regular-season games in 2025, totaling 10.5 sacks. The soon-to-be 37-year-old will reportedly re-up with the Saints on a deal that includes significant incentives.

Jordan is slated to meet with the Saints to discuss a new contract, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports. Jordan was an instrumental part of New Orleans' defense last season, as he logged a team-high 10.5 sacks along with two defensed passes, two forced fumbles and a recovered fumble. The sack mark was his highest since 2021, when he registered 12.5 sacks. At this point, it would feel odd to see Jordan in any other uniform, as he's spent all 15 of his pro seasons with the Saints. The 2011 first-round draft pick has been the epitome of durability during his career, playing in at least 16 games in every one of his pro campaigns, and he's New Orleans' franchise leader in sacks with 132.0. Arye Pulli of USA Today reports that there's mutual interest between Jordan and the Saints, but a deal is not imminent.

Jordan finished the 2025 campaign with 47 tackles (32 solo), including 10.5 sacks, and two passes defended across 17 games. Jordan brought down Kirk Cousins in Week 18 to reach double-digit sacks for the first time since 2021. This was a massive jump from his previous two seasons, when he accumulated 6.0 sacks across 34 regular-season games. The 15-year veteran has now logged 10 or more sacks seven times in his career. Jordan played on a one-year, $6.05 million deal this season, and it's unclear if he'll re-sign with New Orleans, join a new team, or even retire this offseason.

Jordan recorded four tackles, including 2.0 sacks, in Sunday's 29-6 win over the Jets. Jordan was very disruptive when he was on the field, as four of his tackles went for a loss. Among those were sacks of rookie quarterback Brady Cook on back-to-back plays late in the second quarter. Jordan is enjoying a resurgent campaign with 8.5 sacks through 15 contests -- he logged just 6.0 sacks over 34 regular-season games across the previous two seasons combined.

Jordan posted four tackles (two solo), including 2.0 sacks, during the Saints' 21-17 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. Jordan sacked Tua Tagovailoa on the Dolphins' third offensive play of the game for an eight-yard loss, and the former tacked on a four-yard takedown of the Miami QB later in the first quarter. It was Jordan's second multisack performance of the season, and veteran defensive lineman has accrued 4.0 of his 6.5 sacks over the Saints' last three games. He'll look to add to his total in Week 15 against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers.
