If Sincere McCormick misses Week 16, then Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah will both be in play against a Jacksonville defense that has given up 26.3 PPR Fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. Our expectation is that Mattison will handle the majority of the team's rush attempts while Abdullah will be the pass-catching back. If the Raiders are playing from behind, Abdullah may be the better PPR play, but it is hard to forecast anyone playing from behind against Jacksonville.

Sincere McCormick (ankle) left Monday's game against Atlanta, and he could be out in Week 16 against Jacksonville. That would leave Abdullah and Alexander Mattison (57 percent) to work in tandem against the Jaguars, and I give a slight edge to Abdullah, given his expected work in the passing game. He has three games in his past five outings with at least three catches, and he scored at least 10.7 PPR points in all of them. Mattison returned in Week 15 after a three-game absence with an ankle injury, and he should lead the Raiders in carries. Prior to getting hurt, Mattison was operating as the No. 1 running back in Las Vegas, and he scored at least 10.1 PPR points in five of his first seven games. Abdullah and Mattison are both flex options against Jacksonville, and the Jaguars are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to running backs.

Abdullah took three carries for eight yards while hauling in all seven of his targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 15-9 loss to Atlanta. Starter Sincere McCormick (ankle) was injured in the second quarter before being ruled out at halftime, opening extra playing time for the Raiders' backup RBs. Abdullah took full advantage of the opportunity and cashed in a late touchdown reception while Alexander Mattison (7-24-0) handled the early-down work in the second half. Despite the disparity in production Monday, Mattison figures to handle starting duties should McCormick be ruled out for a Week 16 tilt against the Jaguars. Abdullah would likely get worked in as a receiving option like what happened versus the Falcons in the aforementioned scenario.

Abdullah caught one of two targets for a loss of three yards and rushed once for one yard in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Buccaneers. He also returned two punts for 30 yards and two kickoffs for 59 yards. Abdullah earned just two touches despite playing 39 percent of the Raiders' offensive snaps, ceding much of the backfield work to Sincere McCormick as the undrafted 24-year-old took 15 carries for 78 yards to go along with a pair of receptions for another 11 yards. Abdullah figures to take a backseat to McCormick again in Week 15 when Las Vegas hosts the Falcons on Monday Night Football. Additionally, Alexander Mattison (ankle) could return to the backfield rotation as well.

This could be a big game for Abdullah catching the ball in Week 14 at Tampa Bay, especially if Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) remain out. The Buccaneers are tied for second in most receptions allowed to running backs with 71, and 10 running backs this season have scored at least 7.4 PPR points against Tampa Bay with just their receiving totals alone. Abdullah has scored at least 10.7 PPR points in two of his past three games, with 10 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets over that span. He could be a solid flex option in PPR in Week 14.
